Official PC thread.

Titanfall Beta on max settings was beautiful.

I thought it would basically be CoD with robots but I enjoyed myself a little bit too much, must cop.

is the 7770 not doing it? It seems like it should be a good card for standard gaming. I got a friend who is on a 5770 and working that fine

7770 is a solid card, especially for the price i got it for. Low/medium settings on most games at 1080p will get decent frames.
but i would love to upgrade and play more games on higher settings and still get close to 60fps at 1080p

Yeah Maximum everything 1080p with 60fps means your better off grabbing a 760 gtx unless you can get a 270x for retail.

what's a good pc game controller to get?
i got bf4 for pc but i hate it cuz of the mouse/keyboard :x

The XBOX 360 Controller for Windows. (srs)

I got the wireless version. Layout and build quality feels better than the DualShock 3. Takes a while to get used to at first.

I've been used to the keyboard and mouse for BF4, though. Never the pad... they don't have aim assist on PC, so accuracy is ****. I only use the pad for 2K and RPGs. :lol And dedicated peripherals for flight simulations and racing simulations.

Oh well... it was worth a shot. :lol

The XBOX controller is plug-and-play though... :p

DS3 with the Motioninjoy software was okay... mapping buttons for each game was a chore.

As for other manufacturers... Logitech makes a PS-style gamepad, and Razer makes an XB-style gamepad (the Onza).

1000

Spent $30 on 3 sata cables and it feels worth it.

I use my Wii U Pro Controller with the Mayflash wireless adapter. The WIi U pro controller is much better then the PS4 or XBOX one serious

they feel kinda brittle, eh? They have the right idea on the trigger buttons, though... works well for racing games with that spring.

^ Nope... not for me. I'm probably not going to get BF4 Premium even. New patch just messed the sound up :x

I had too much fun with the beta. Trying to decide if I should grab a Xbox One to play it since I don't know many people playing on Pc

have a quick question regarding routers/modems. So I have Comcast and as some you know they supply you with a modem in exchange for a monthly fee. Recently I been having trouble with my modem. I have an Arris 862g which is a combination of a modem and a wireless router all in one. During late nights, I have no trouble connecting, no random disconnects or slow speeds. During the day its the complete opposite. I cannot connect with any wifi enabled devices for short periods of time, disconnects and when I am able to connect I get a measly 1-5 mbps(i should be getting 50mbps). I tried connecting via ethernet and I was still getting slow speeds. Any idea what the problem can be? I am going to exchange it this week and hopefully the new router/modem works. I am also thinking of bridging the Comcast modem and buying a dual band router. Do you guys think this will solve my problem? Any help will be appreciated.

Call Comcast and have them replace the modem. Better yet go get a actually good modem and use it with the WiFi router you have. The all in one usually are terrible

Real lazy dude.... Just copped a new MB and honestly too lazy to back my data up when I switch em out.

How risky is it to swap out motherboards without backing up data?

Put data you care about on a non primary harddrive and swap. It will still be there when you switch just in case. Windows 8 will adjust to the new MOBO anyway

Went ahead and didn't backup a damn thing (too lazy :lol) and got everything up and running perfectly with a new MB and i5-4430 CPU.

Feelsgoodman

Felt lost in the world waiting for my CPU to arrive and not being home to install it spring break.
