Canon dominated, but probably one of the most active photography forums I know. Plenty of Nikon users on there also.

Any tips/advice on how to take a clear pic with out having the car blur. The best pic I took one time with point and shoot

so I have a dead megapixel on my T1i... what do I do? but only thing is it only shows when I shoot in vid 720 (and I never shoot in 1080)?

also, I'm lookin to cop either a Wide Angle lens or a lens with a decent zoom range (been lookin at the canon 18-200/tamron 18-270mm) any good suggestions?

I had this problem with my XTI before I had my T1i. For pictures, the dead pixel only appears when I go on 800 ISO or higher. So, the video dead pixel mustexcruciating

. Idk if it covers on Canon's warranty but it's worth a shot to send it in.

I haven't had issues with my dead pixel in my videos but when it comes to photos, it shouldn't be a problem. Camera RAW will show it as a red spot butonce your process it in PS, it automatically patches it up. Last I checked, you're better off living with the dead pixel than sending it in. It could costyou quite a bit.

I'm thinking about selling my 24-105L 4.0 for a 17-55 2.8...Anyone think it's a good idea?

nice shots demon. I'm still debating on getting those lens. Also what setting you used at the hockey game? Any more pics?

I used the sports setting at an ISO of 800 I think. I just got it a few hours before and wanted to see if it was fast enough for hockey. I would definitelyrecommend it to anyone with a DX Nikon.

Trying to be conservative with my money due to black friday coming up and wanting shoes lol. I'm pretty close to actually getting it since I got a 10% offbestbuy coupon that ends on the 30th.

I also want to try it at an outside ice rink at night that I'm going to this week. I don't want to bring a tripod so I don't know if shots wouldlook nice.
