Official Pizza Appreciation!

I’ve been wearing the dominos Philly cheesesteak pizza out…it’s flames

Not going lie, if I am hungry and want something quick, my #1 go to, will always be a large Domino's thin crust cheese. Just love it when it's hot right out of the oven. So light & crispy, I can finish it easily by myself (there is nothing to it since it's so thin).

Plus, they are literally 1 minute from my house and their App is the best food app bar non. Can order a pie in 25 seconds (using the $7.99 large coupon) and it's ready in 9-14 minutes. Great for watching the games on Sunday as you miss very little action.

Received a notification from Google that I've ranked in the top 10% of Pizza restaurant reviewers on Google 😊. Pretty legit if I do say so myself.

Spent the day 🍕 crawling in NJ. Went to Brooklyn Square in Jackson Township. They are known for their square slices. I had the mushroom/onion, upside down & regular. All 3 were pillowy & soft with great char on the undercarriage. The regular one I could do without...sauce was 👎 on that one.

Stop #2 was Palermo's in Bordentown. They are known for their tomatoe pies but I stuck with my go-to which is cheese pie. Excellent sauce & pretty thin. One Bite gave them an 8.2 & I can see why.

Last but not least: Brother Bruno's in Wayne, NJ. It's a spot known for dessert pizza. I went with the large divided into chocolate chip/birthday cake/cookie monster & fudge brownie. Can't lie New Jersey has some dope pizza spots.

need to visit nyc soon and get me another slice.

So far I’ve had:

John’s on bleeker
Di fara
Prince st
Joe’s on carmine st

anywhere else I should check out? Is Scarr’s pizza worth the stop?

Johns is so overrated man. Everyone suggest that place and I literally have no idea why, ive had it and while good its not a place id bother suggesting to someone. Scarr’s is good but theres so much good pizza that I woudnt travel to xyz just for pizza. If youre down in the LES though Scarr’s is a good place to grab a slice.

Scarr's is worth getting a slice at. i also HIGHLY recommend Vezzo in Murray Hill. not a traditional NY slice or style but it's good as hell

Def do John's on Bleeker. It is heavenly pizza man. I only know of 1 person who says it's overrated & that's my boy picasso swerve picasso swerve lol. Di Fara- it's meh, had it once & too hyped, imo. Dom(the OG owner of Di Fara) died recently & some say the quality of pizza has suffered some but who knows that just might be nostalgia talking. Prince St- I've had their regular & it was a good 1 time bite. They are known for their pepperoni slice I believe, which I haven't had. Checkout Dani's in Kew Gardens(1 of my personal GOAT NYC pizzas)/Vaccaro's in Little Neck Pkwy in Queens/Hangry in New Hyde Park/Dunwoodie in Yonkers/Gabi's on Hillside Avenue, Queens/Pugsley in the Bronx/Margherita Pizza on Jamaica Avenue, Queens & Best Pizza on Havemeyer St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

yall think Lucali in brooklyn is worth it?

Honestly I dont think any pizza shop is worth a trip solely for the pizza unless you gonna be around that area anyways or its a type of slice you cant get anywhere else. And not cause itll be bad or whatever, its just theres a ton of good pizza spots everywhere in NYC and any of those shops will fix your craving. If im in Soho ill get Prince St no doubt, best pepporoni slice anywhere. If theres a better one in BK I guarantee it wont be worth the travel.

Great looking pie right there.
Ooh indeed it was.

Read you mentioned Scarr's earlier...I've heard rave reviews but am yet to go there myself. Got to hit em up sometime soon.

Lucali is like luxury pizza & the seating arrangement is kind of crazy. You have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than getting a table there, lol. I've always wanted to go but you have to line up outside starting around 3PM & line gets super long very quickly. Then you give em your name & by 5 they'll let you know if they can confirm a table for you...it's too much BS if you ask me but I get why they do it that way.

Owner is a pizza guru through & through. I think it took him more than a decade to perfect his recipes & ingredients before he opened shop. If you do get lucky enough to score yourself a table lmk how it was. A lot of people say it's worth the wait.
