he's refering to helmet to helmet when the ball carrier initiates contact. helmet to helmet flags are for defenseless players and QBs

We've had our opportunities to capatilize on these TO's but Crabs has made some crucial drops on a few possession which halt the drive.

Good thing we got those early TD's, so I'm fine with any points on the board right now with the way our D is playing.

We need to take a shot down the field, and we need Gore to make a big play like we all know he can.. he's due for one today.

Amazing game thus far, c'mon SF finish this strong!

No he wasn't. He clearly said rb's aren't afforded the same rules. It could have gone either way. Thomas had just caught the ball, wasn't clearly a runner.
Yet, Whitner didn't launch himself/incidental contact in the process of tackling.

And Thomas didn't initiate contact, he had barely turned around.
