Then they make it through this maze with minimal assistance and no govt to prepare them for the future and are told to pull themselves up by the bootstrap. Govt involvement in something no one should be aware of aside from the person and medical professionals is a joke.

False. If 100% of the population had a functional brain and some empathy and human decency, they'd hear the words "send her back", "they're all rapists and criminals coming for our stuff" and denounce that candidate. People didn't not vote for him because they were bothered by actual politics. They heard those words come out a person's mouth and forgot about any legitimate political issues such as taxes and immediately chosen human decency over that.
Unfortunately 100% of the population do not have a functional brain and human decency.
It's 100% understandable why people went for Romney or McCain. I'd bet many in this thread did, or considered them. 2016 was different, 2020 was different, and 50 years from now if justice prevails you'd realize you were on the wrong side of history.

Even in states with the lowest PRMRs and among women with higher levels of education, significant differences persist. These findings suggest that the disparity observed in pregnancy-related death for black and AI/AN women is a complex national problem.
“These disparities are devastating for families and communities and we must work to eliminate them,” said Emily Petersen, M.D., medical officer at CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health and lead author of the report. “There is an urgent need to identify and evaluate the complex factors contributing to these disparities and to design interventions that will reduce preventable pregnancy-related deaths.”
this plus the cost of giving birth, the issues with maternity live and because of the costs of health care the burden on a family if something comes up

Help me understand this argument.
Are you all suggesting that more black women should choose to get abortions, instead of delivering, because of the rate of deaths during delivery?
Abortions are a medical procedure as well. I’m just not sure this argument makes much sense.
That said, it’s clear we probably disagree so I’m cool agreeing to disagree.
As I said earlier, this is a complex and difficult issue. And I imagine those faced with it do not take it lightly.

What is going to be needed in order to reach the idiot, is someone who can come up with an ideology that can reach the lowest depths of moron, the latent white supremacist, and then get him to understand that his mediocre existence is completely his own fault.

Of course a woman should have the right to choose. But like with most rights, I think there should be certain limitations based on the interests of the child at a certain point.

Just watched a documentary about Obama being elected in 2008 on HBO and seeing old *** white people dance and root for a black man gives me hope in these BS times. Not saying Obama's politics were ever 100% on point or something I agreed with, but knowing it was possible so many people from an era where segregation was normal were able to get behind someone they didn't look like gives me a tiny bit of hope. Just a tiny bit.

No no no, acknowledging the health risks and costs associated with carrying a child to term and the support that said child will likely need after birth in the likely form of government housing for orphans and adoptees, food subsidies, education assistance, and government health care assistance is the equivalent of saying all lives matter and it’s a red herring to say someone is pro-birth but doesn’t care about the dissociative effects of a child born into a broken system.
But he has wrongly stated that the issue of pro-life only applies to abortion. It’s been applied to the death penalty and euthanasia for as long as I can remember as well
