😂😂😂😂

In St. Lucia right now.

Might go look at some land for sale next week.

If I pull it he trigger on a cocoa growing estate, all you bruhs are all welcomed. Except Delk.

All long as you dudes are cool with living off the land and making a living selling single sourced artisanal chocolate products.....might grow some cashews too, I dunno. It will be open to free and fair elections to decide the secondary crop

I'm pro union. But ain't one of you gonna tell me we not gonna make dark chocolate truffles. If you all gonna bring that type of energy, best not even show up.
Even me rusty? 🥺

until I see Trumpito dragged out in cuffs, I don't believe it.

Get Manchin tf outta here. He shouldn't have the voting power he has. How they aint boot him like the pubics did Liz Cheney? Bruh aint even a democrat. He's an opp

This.

If Democrats amend the bill to please Manchin and he still says no, that's nothing but classic republican obstructionist behavior.

Not kicking him out of the party is a sign of weakness, and you won't get non-aligned Americans to vote for or support you.

Regarding the argument to keep Manchin in for appointments, there's no reason to trust that he will support Biden's picks, especially after this stunt. Better to let him go now than allow him to sabotage the party from within.

That's why I'm so against the big tent philosophy of the party in this current moment. Moderate conservatives don't have to challenge the GOP because Democrats are all too willing to keep them relevant by giving them refuge after they get kicked out, and conservative Democrats have absolutely no reason to fear the leadership backlash if they go against the party platform.
I wish there was some kind of federal override where if one dude is blocking an overwhelmingly popular legislation from being passed it allowed it to still go through. I don’t know man **** cannot keep going like this
It's called a binding referendum, and the Founding Fathers decided it was too cumbersome to implement such a thing for the "best" democracy in the world. Apparently, we're too dumb to really know what we want.

Everyone can do their own cost benefit analysis and decide if Joe Manchin's wackiness is worth it.

I think id be a lot more sanguin about him if BBB was this sterling piece of legislation,

rather than a lot of poorly designed programs,
that will be sabotaged by republican governors
and then ended when take back control.

but minds can differ.

So you've decided that making Mitch McConnell senate majority leader will improve the situation?

you don't actually have a choice unless you have a plan to win ohio.
and as we have discussed her ad nauseum, progressives do not have a plan to win ohio.

I couple of programs, mainly the childcare stuff we're poorly designed. Others, like the climate stuff, IRS, CTC refundability, etc we're not

Like if BBB was like 2 trillion dollars bigger, with tax increases to fund a ton more good temporary programs and make the essential ones permanent it would be so much better. Much better. The Dems should have done that instead.

But Manchin was one of the reasons that better bill was destroyed. Killing the Dems ability to make the bill way better

Then the damage he did to the bill is used as an excuse for his actions, or in this case downplay the damage he did

But sure I guess minds can differ as long as one of the minds downplays a lot of the ******* Manchin did and ignore much of BBB.

sure yes, like I said his behavior is not good,
and everyone's gotta decide the headache and frustrations manchin brings is worth it.

Welp I have made up my mind. This take seems somewhat on point too..
Joe Manchin take is predicated on the idea that in the end he'll do the right (ish) thing and give you the votes.

if he doesn't do that and actually torpedo's Joe Bidens legislative agenda then yah youll be 100% correct, it's not worth it.

let's hoipe im right about this and after all this goofiness he'll be there at the end.

like i said im of two minds of it, on one hand yah not good,

but what BBB ended up looking like by the end...
I don't know if losing that makes all the other legislation passed + preventing mitch McConnell from being majority leader not worth it.

You want to have a discussion about the economic impact of everything in BBB?

Or cherry pick things to act like the BBB was subpar and therefore not that big of a lost

It seems you are just trying to both sides the issue because you know you can't go full throttle lecturing people on how lucky they should be for Joe Manchin's existence
