Second, it really shows the conservative commitment to white supremacy. In 1982, John Roberts was begging the Regan Administration not to listen to her, and weaken the Voting Rights Act. Basically making it toothless. The dude was in his mid-20s. That didn't happen, it was made more powerful

Decades later, Roberts becomes a Supreme Court justice, and helps dismantle to law himself. Making up a legal statute to defend going against something explicitly stated in the constitution

But the Dems really should take up McConnell on his offer to reform the Electoral Count Act.
 
Gonna be hard to mobilize voters after having the majority and getting your agenda tanked by 2 trolls in your own party. I know some understand the nuances of it, but the general public is gonna be like “what’s the point?”.

Hopefully the Democrats can get the important legislation past the obstructive Democrats in the Senate.
