***Official Political Discussion Thread***

That undecided line is good :lol

its the truth for me at least

i haven't voted since 2006

And 10 years later you come around to complain about the system? Like I said earlier, you can't have democracy without PEOPLE.

can i be special like you ?
If you do not vote for a racist, misogynist, xenophobe, you may have a chance!

racist, sexist, bigot, wash rince repeat every election cycle it seems :lol :{ someone gotta update that DNC playbook...[/quote]

The DNC playbook? It's in the damn GOP playbook to appeal to these types of people. If you decide to **** on yourself, don't tell me not to tell you that you stink.

Most pointless discussion on NT.

Dudes don't want change and don't care to spark interesting motives to create that change, they just want to show how smart they are.

This. And with the consistent effort some dudes put in here, i wouldn't be surprised if they're getting paid by the post.

That's funny considering the one and only reason you entered this thread was to pompously remind everyone that the discussion is below your standard

Here's your pat on the back

Nah stop it famb, we should talk more about TV shows, fantasy sports, hype beast releases, and baseball to spark the interest to create change.

That is what will really make the difference

Very worthy topics!

But I'm thinking that a conversation about the moon landing being a hoax would be more titillating

Don't see how this thread has gotten pointless. You can say there's really only two views often seen in this thread though. And that's how politics is, it gets down to pettiness and how much you want to **** over your opponent even though it may end up being detrimental to yourself even.
Anyway carry on, I always learn some new things from some of the posts here.

I'm seeing ever little dirt come up about trump being brushed under the rug as "media collusion" on social media.

:lol media collusion didn't make Donald Trump do deplorable things

I might be speaking nonsense here, but I think right now would be the best opportunity for a 3rd party to make themselves more legitimate. Not saying they'll be serious contenders in 2020 but they could be stirring the pot at the state and local level. The trust and faith in the dominated 2 party system is at it's weakest we've seen in our lifetimes and then some. I'm interested to see how this all plays out after the inauguration, that's when the hangover should subside.

We have to remember the Reform Party

Ross Peridot established the Reform Party, got enough votes to get them federal matching, and the first chance the got the nominated Pat Buchanan and welcome in David Duke. :{

A move that force one moderate businessman to leave the Party after a failed Presidential bid. The name of the moderate business turned off by racism within the party; the one and only Donald Trump. :lol

-The Liberation and Green and loony as hell, any traction they get, they will probably blow it.

Ross Perot gave H.W. fits :lol I just watched a 30 for 30 short bout how he "gave" Clinton the election :lol

But we gotta have more than 2 legitimate parties, hell, even an Independent party, even though it's an oxymoron

How much you and Ninja getting paid?

Clinton da one wit a budget for online shills :lol... maybe u should ask Belgium boy, his other job is squatting on unused obscure IG names 8o....

There are many downsides to a multi-party system. Ultimately they will form shifting alliances so that they function as two parties at any one time. Or, if that doesn't happen, then there is never enough support to push anything through, or we get the tyranny of the vocal minority -- imagine if we had 10 parties. Trump would still win his 20% of deplorables. Everyone else would get a tepid 5-10% of votes. :x

There are other reforms/improvements that would be more effective. What I think would probably help though is if candidates were allowed to deviate more from the party line and, in turn, voters weren't so partisan with their votes. And if elected officials weren't so partisan themselves. Adding more transparency to the election process would also help. And we should figure out why it is that a candidate for president is calling for his opponent to put $10+ million dollars into her own campaign. We need to lessen the influence of money, especially from the candidates themselves.

We definitely need a flat cap on campaign contributions, whether it's direct or from SuperPACs, which are also a major issue. Even if there was a person great for the job, it's difficult for them to compete w/ the bank of these career politicians.

rubio denounces/rejects the wikileaks emails...

... as our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process, and I will not indulge it.

Further, I want to warn my fellow Republicans who may want to capitalize politically on these leaks: Today it is the Democrats. Tomorrow it could be us.

... will not discuss any issue that has become public solely on the basis of WikiLeaks.

This tweet is so spot on...

i guess ur fine with anaemic economic growth from da status quo that would certainly continue under a Hillary administration....

I asked for the positives of a trump presidency....

-lower taxes & regulations

-less United states foreign intervention

-a robust energy policy that takes advantage of our vast natural resources, and further secure a independent energy inventory away from da OPEC cartel

-a better chance at actually paying down da 20 Trillion we owe as a Country

-absolutely no TPP free trade deals

-potential term limit laws on congress

-simple tax plan

Very nice public and statement. But any good politician worth know his salt knows that the information dropping is far too juicy to not take advantage of. But once again, very nice public statement.

This is a blatant lie. Nearly every economist that looks into Trump's plans say he will explode the national debt. The links have been provided to you too, so there is no reason for you to be still ignorant on this subject.

Stop saying this, it is not true
