That's what I don't understand. They've complained about inflation and gas prices for the past year and now that they have control of the House, THIS is the first thing you want to focus your attention on? How do you even support a party that continues to put their attention on BS that won't help this country? To hope they can get that gratification of "Ha, we told you he was corrupt" when the dude they worship has done corrupt things in plain sight?

Elon is a multi billionaire, anybody with that amount of money & power wasn't ever going to support true "free speech" . He's gonna do the same exact things Twitter was doing for the left all this time, with all of his right wing buddies. That was a given, it's just amazing to watch the grifters act as if Elon "ruined" Twitter as if most of these same actions weren't going on under jack. It's just no longer in their favor so they're going to speak on it.

Inflation, crime and Gas Prices were all red herrings for them. They used them to attack our side but notice how they never said what their plans were to deal with those issues? These idiots aren't interested in governing and their base doesn't care. The thing about these house districts and the gerrymandering is that you are in an echo chamber. Republicans and their base love culture wars and owning libs. With that said, elections are won with independents and all this stuff does is alienate them.

There’s an email on the laptop mentioning a x% cut to the “big guy” regarding some shady business deal. They claim the supposed big guy is Joe. One of the people on the email chain claims it’s authentic.
Problem is that the laptop shows signs of tampering (as in other people adding data to it) and that particular email is one of the ones that doesn’t have any verifiable cryptographic signatures.
WaPo and others have let security researchers investigate copies of the laptop from GOP operatives and that was one of the results.
There’s not a whole lot that was unable to be verified but that particular email was the key and only claim to link Hunter’s shady deals to Joe Biden.
I think anyone with a bit of common sense can see Hunter’s a crook, the only real question is whether that email is authentic and whether the content even refers to Joe in the first place. I’d have to look up the specifics of the deal again but if anything it just seemed shady, nothing illegal.
What they’re going to do is drag Hunter infront of Congress and make him plead the 5th a few hundred times, unless he’s an idiot and actually answers problematic questions while he’s under criminal investigation.

The GOP is not a governing party. They're not interested in governing. That's why they never have any good ideas on how to do it and why even when they're in charge they blame everyone else for what's happening. They're just an overly influential country club.
