That I don't think it is worth making
America and a country benefiting on a macroeconomic level from slavery and that compounding from time, and every individual citizen benefiting from the institution's existence making history line up in a certain way, are very different arguments even though on paper it seems like there are similarities if you squint and turn the paper sideways

I feel like if any black candidate (Democrat or Republican), any color democratic nominee or even a white traditional republican nominee got indicted on 30+ charges that they would tank but here we see Trump taking off. His fanbase and this new era of the Republican are different and it’s actually kind of scary
