Again, if biden is “brain dead” as trappedintime said couple pages ago, we are seeing biden/harris/whoever actually do the job currently even with the Republican house and judges doing all they can to screw things up

Republicans are literally campaigning on things they voted against.. or in the case of trump, bragging about successes of the current administration (reduction in insulin prices, stock market highs and byproducts of infrastructure bill)

People are understandably concerned but if we can look at the big picture, the GOP is not in a very strong position.

I haven’t seen anything really, fundamentally change for the GOP since 2022.

I feel like a few days after the election, the narrative will be something like “turns out, Dobbs and abortion are still a huge albatross around the GOPs neck.”

Moreover, saying that Biden is old and that the GOP will fix inflation were both tried in 2022. I don’t see them doing things differently enough to make it somehow work this time around.

It’s only going to be close due to the EC but negative polarization, the educational divide, and the GOP’s position on abortion will be their electoral undoing, again.
