on the topic of cultural clothing...

I could be wrong about this but it feels like wearing clothes of different cultures is much more taboo in America than it is in other countries.
like Nigerians love it when non Nigerians rock african clothes.

but for example i feel like americans always make fun of Adele for that Jamaican fit she wore once,

meanwhile in Toronto,
this is what the Mayor wore during Caribana. and everyone loved it.

You're about right. Someone as big as Adele embracing culture and having fun with it was a great look especially since Jamaica loves her too. We're always surprised how such a small island has such a far reach. Internet discourse has blurred the "culture vulture" line.
