Can’t imagine Peter Thiel being involved in something that has to do with the presidential race and it being objective. It kinda flies in the face of what he’s had going on for a long time.

Eh, I am a Theil skeptic but what about projections in polymarket or others influence politcal outcomes?

One could argue that there are increased incentives for folks in a tight race to vote and they decrease the broader the perceived gap but I think that is all for naught post 2016 and what happened there.

I'll take your criticism a lot more seriously when you figure out the difference between a market and a sports book.

I didn't call it a sportsbook. I called it a gambling market. They literally take bets. That's the definition of gambling. The fact you think it's some next level market is hilarious. Their marketing really did a great job on you. They got you thinking you're some fancy stuff but you're just using an offshore book to bet on US politics.

Glenn Greenwald (thiel's nate silver on this front) used to argue this. And claim it was a place for "independent heterodox thinkers". You dont have to be a conspiracy to see that it ACTUALLY turned into truth social 2.0. a-political project.





You can keep hand waving things away, and calling everyone a conspiracy theorist for simply following a pattern and having some scrutiny about a POLITICAL PROJECT Thiel is involved in.

But then I remember you were the same person who actually bought that Elon bought Twitter to free it from the “Censorious Left”, and turn it into a haven for free speech for all.
