Legit no reason to wait until the day of.

Early polls are open to at least 7 pm daily and it generally takes less than 5 mins.

Sadly, if you live in an affluent area it's kind of cool to wait until the big day. No line.

That being said, I think going forward I will vote early then take a vacation the week of the election. Being on the beach while hearing good or bad news is a win-win.

I been voting absentee as long as I can recall. I think I went in person once and never again.

I usually do but my son turned 18 this year and I wanted him to experience it.

We had 2 weeks of early voting in Florida. The hardest part was finding parking because the lot was full of volunteers and people campaigning for their candidates. They even marked off the 100 foot line at my location so they would know not to cross it

Parking in another nearby parking lot and walking wasn't an option? Seems like a very small hurdle to deal with.

The political case of religion vs science divides this country so deeply. Unproven beliefs vs proven facts. Thats what I deduced. Something subjective vs objective. So I think its hard to convince those people who have their deep faith in certain issues, one based on Gods commands and something actually affecting women in real time. Where is the line we draw between people obeying a religion’s orders versus listening to the science of people? It’s very complicated.

After my FiL was ranting about how Kamala didn’t say who she voted for because it was her business I asked him who he voted for - expecting some hypocrisy.

Instead I got:

Yeah i just parked across the street in a shopping plaza. Let me duck all the flyers they be handing out. Plus on the way back to my car I went into a place that sells both Haitian and Jamaican patties. Got one of each.
