Oh yeah, I’m looking forward to it being the Twitter for people are fundamentally decent or at least decent enough to want to interact with.
We do need to further flood Twitter and any other pro Trump platform. Mostly, it will be flooded with sewage by way of bots, ai lefty slop, ai slop designed to viscerally upset and more importantly antagonize differing factions of Trump’s coalition. All sorts of noxious content is coming there way.
So I’ll probably keep my Twitter accounts as vectors for sludge. Because, we know, “free speech” came back when the Boer bought it. But I’ll use them to observe and occasionally troll for a few minutes here or there.
BlueSky and Threads have a "Hood Talk problem"
Starting an uncensored NikeTalk meant that only the MOST unhinged and psychopathic Nike Talkers would feel compelled to make an account.
that made the initial user base was exceptionally toxic and unattractive.
Thus making the platform totally unattractive to the median sneaker forum user.
The Threads "no politics:" policy made it attract the most brand safe and boring, celebrities/brands
Blue Sky with its elaborate and aggressive blocking tools, attracted the most censorious and annoying hyper partisan progressives.
So the perception of these platforms is;
Threads; boring, corporate.
BlueSky; Hyper progressive, hyper sensitive.
as a result its going to be extremely hard to get the median person interested in micro blogging to move over.
you'll notice, in the past few weeks there's been a huge intra democratic party debate between left and center intellectuals on the future of the democratic party. That convo has pretty much entirely taken place on Twitter.
