Not to mention the increased burden on taxpayers to cover the costs of office space, utilities, and furniture for employees returning to the office. And let’s not forget another glaring issue: parking. Many government agencies barely have enough parking as it is, even with employees working remotely. It’s a complete mess and shaping up to be a logistical nightmare.
There isn’t even enough office space available. Like many IRS offices went partially remote since 2015 because there really wasn’t enough space for everyone.
