earlier i said i wasn't optimistic but i was hoping he does well.
after more thought, i take that back. i want him to fail miserably and to embarrass himself and his family in an unprecedented way. he deserves hell on earth and i hope he gets it.

Yeah that's what it boils down to, voter turnout. If people would have actually turned out to vote this whole thing would have ended differently.
I hope people remember this going forward.
I just couldn't get behind Hillary (I also voted for Bernie in the primaries.) She was wayyyyyyy too corrupt and too much of the same ole same ole good ole boy network. I don't like Trump one bit but I can understand why some people voted for him, because they are sick of politicians running Washington while being paid off by lobbyist. (I'm not saying he will be any different, I'm just saying I can see why some voted for him)
Trump and Hillary are both terrible people and I wish we could have had a none of the above option and just postponed the whole election for another year while we found worthy candidates. Trump is easy to hate on by what he blatantly said, Hillary is easy to hate on but you have to actually do your research and see how vile she is / was.
Best case scenario is that this 4 years goes by without him ******* too much up and we can get a much better leader in 2020.

While a lot of the comments on here have made me think wtf, I realize we all have our valid points. I'm not trying to start **** with this, but Rodney King said it, "can't we all just get along?" It seems the answer is wrought throughout our history. What's it gonna take? At this point I'm hoping aliens come down to conquer us, cause I don't see us coming together short of some crazy disaster to bring us to our senses. Black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc, were all Americans/ human beings and if shtf and some outside force came in guns blazing I'd be right next to you all fighting for OUR lives. I wish you all the best, I really do. Race/politics/religion has been used to divide us, and we need to focus our attention on the ones who really deserve it. Hate and anger is born out of fear and they've been scaring the **** out of us all for a long time. Good luck to you all.

Donald Trump got sued twice for violating Fair Housing Act, a piece of civil rights legislation, for discriminating against black people. This was widely known but ignored by his voters.
He is not as bad as Hillary, he is worst, partly because he is a racist. And many of his followers like that.
Let us be #1HUNNA about what went on. This Bernie talk seems like it is also implicitly letting a large portion of people, especially white people, off the hook for cosigning a white supremacy platform.

There is plenty of evidence I really just do not want to go dig it all up, I don't care if you don't believe me that's fine.
I am not defending Trump, I did not vote for him, I do not agree with him. All I am saying is I can SEE why people would vote for him over Hillary. I can also see why people would obviously vote for Hillary over Trump.
I didn't say Trump was a better choice than Hillary.
If you can't see the faults in both of them I don't know what to tell you.

His whole thing for 8 years was hope and change and continuing that and in the long run he ain't change nothing. Part of Trump winning was the anger of having a black man in the seat and WS wanting "their country back" (even though they never lost it).
Just wish Obama stood up stronger for his people cuz his legacy is nothing. All the change and hope talk meant nothing.

I've made it pretty well known that I dislike Hillary...a LOT. But what I will say is that, at the very least, I knew I could sleep comfortably at night with the nuclear codes in her hands.
Racism, sexism, and lack of knowledge of foreign policy aside, Trump is still a thin skinned idiot who holds the fate of the world in his hands. That's the scariest part of this thing to me. That's the difference between him and other Republicans that may have similar politics. Ted Cruz wouldn't consider starting a war just because somebody called him a name on Twitter. Jeb Bush didn't carry around a list of people to get revenge on. People are concerned about Trump's policies, that's the least of our worries. I'm literally afraid this country won't even make it into 2020. Hell, gahdamn ISIS is celebrating his victory saying it's the beginning of the end for America.

He tried to change things, was obstructed at every turn. Vilified in ways that if a Republican was in office and the country showed the progress economically that it has would be having statues built in their honor. He accomplished a lot. He didn't let black people nor the rest of the country down for that matter. White supremacy won like it has since this country's inception. Again I keep saying this he's not Superman, there's literally nothing he could do about the level of hatred that results from fear of the other and when you think they're taking your country away from them. This was something bubbling below the surface from election day 2008.
