Hope none of their home videos ever leaks :lol :x

In other news,France held it's legislative elections today and Macron's party, En Marche, swept up seats like crazy :eek :eek

1000

There's still a 2nd round left for the close races but right now it's looking like he's gonna have a supermajority and more than enough tools and support for a full mandate. Gonna be real interesting to see his moves now that he can pretty much implement most of his agenda with relative ease.

It's pretty refreshing to see this kind of broad support for his party because many of the folks who ran under his party banner are newcomers to politics and half of them are women. He made sure that his party is representative of modern France so there's a decent amount of POC as well.

Trump attorney won't rule out firing Mueller

One of President Donald Trump’s attorneys on Sunday wouldn't rule out the possibility the president would fire the special counsel appointed to look into his campaign’s potential ties to Russia.

Robert Mueller was appointed by the Justice Department last month to investigate Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election. And on Sunday, ABC's George Stephanopoulos asked Trump attorney Jay Sekulow whether the president would pledge not to interfere or order the attorney general to fire Mueller.

“Look, the president of the United States, as we all know, is a unitary executive,” Sekulow said on ABC’s “This Week.” “But the president is going to seek the advice of his counsel and inside the government as well as outside. And I'm not going to speculate on what he will, or will not, do.”

Sekulow said he “can’t imagine” the issue would arise, but “that, again, is an issue that the president with his advisers would discuss if there was a basis.”

In my catholic highschool there was a dresscode that was actually enforced and banned both females and males from showing their shoulders. We weren't allowed to wear tank tops in hot weater because "it could be arousing" and girls couldn't wear tops with spaghetti straps.

It was ridiculous. One time I was getting lunch in the cafeteria with a classmate who was wearing one and they refused to give her food.

these conservative Christians can't bear to see a woman's shoulders, but they go insane if Saudis ban women from showing their ankles.

To be fair that was really the only thing our catholic highschool was so strict about. The school knows very well that besides some muslims there isn't a single religious student out of the ~3500 students there. Our religion class studied all religions pretty equally in my impression, even hinduism and buddhism. The only real biblethumping that went on was the very conservative dress code.
