Found this gem in there:
He’s also spoken generally about reforming the short-term visa program for farmworkers. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue told Congress last month that the existing H2A visa, which admits seasonal workers, “has not been as successful as we would like, and it’s very onerous,” especially for smaller farms, to navigate all the paperwork.

So what is it? On one hand, you want immigrant activity to be extensively documented, and on the other hand, you complain about the amount of paperwork.

I know its crazy with all this but
Don't let that distract you from the fact that In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.

You legit had me for a couple seconds

Was listening to Washington journal this morning, and the amount of people who repeated the lie that Obamacare was "done in the dark and behind closed doors" was staggering. I'm not surprised one bit
Well those folks that really depend on ACA for lowering their health care cost better not be surprised when their premiums go up because they are "at risk"

GOP Hypocrisy pt. 63476875467845678645789

These dudes are never held accountable by their base for lying and being straight up hypocrites. They let them get away with anything
Cue to the Syrian bombing polls pre/post Trump. The right and its leaders should be looked at and approached the same way you do religious cults.

My personal belief is that the US doesn't need a healthcare bill. The US should just provide medicare to all with no restrictions. Then insurance companies would have to compete with that.
Trump to host Trump re-election fundraiser at Trump hotel
President. Candidate. Businessman. Three of President Donald Trump’s roles converge next week as he holds his first major re-election fundraiser at his hotel in Washington.

Trump officially kicked off his re-election campaign on Inauguration Day by filing Federal Election Commission paperwork, making it the earliest such effort by a sitting president.

It’s paying off: The campaign raised more than $7 million by the end of March from appeals to small donors and the sale of merchandise such as the ubiquitous red “Make America Great Again” ball caps.

The June 28 fundraiser at the Trump International Hotel in Washington is for larger donors. TheTrump campaign and the Republican National Committee will share proceeds.

Trump campaign director Michael Glassner confirmed the site to The Associated Press on Wednesday, calling it a premier and convenient location.

The president can see the hotel, in the historic Old Post Office building on Pennsylvania Avenue, from the White House lawn. It’s the center of the political universe in his Washington, occasionally housing incoming administration officials and serving as a dinner-and-drinks destination for would-be influencers and past and present Trump aides.

Trump himself foreshadowed the choice of location last week in a text message to supporters. Trying to encourage small donors to participate in a drawing to gain admittance, the campaign wrote, in the voice of Trump: “Do not worry about a thing. We will fly you to DC, we will take a picture together, and you will stay at a beautiful hotel. BIG LEAGUE.”

He and his supporters have referred to the Trump International Hotel in Washington as “beautiful.” The Trump Organization completed a $200 million renovation of the government property weeks before Election Day.

With the General Services Administration as his landlord — and the president as the GSA’s ultimate boss — Trump has tried to distance himself from the property’s finances. Government watchdogs have argued that the steps he’s taken fall short of avoiding potential conflicts of interest.

Under a restructuring outlined in letters between the Trump Organization and the GSA, profits from the hotel will go to an account of the corporate entity that holds the lease, Trump Old Post Office LLC. The letter does not address what might happen to any profits from the hotel after Trump leaves office, or whether they will be transferred to Trump at that time.

Trump’s October ribbon-cutting for the hotel’s grand opening doubled as a campaign event. “Under budget and ahead of schedule,” Trump said, calling it a preview of his approach to running the country.

During his inauguration festivities, Trump’s top donors stayed there, and the president has dined there three times — always with relatives and advisers Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

I really do wonder what is it with the mainstream Democratic Party and its fixation with "college educated, white, suburban voters."

Why is it when Bernie Sanders engages with low income, non college educated white, who voted for Trump, he is branded a racist and is accused of ignoring the Democratic Party's mulit cultural base? But those same accusations do not come at mainstream Democrats, who engage with high income, college educated white, who voted for Trump.

Why is it considered unacceptable to talk to white supremacists who wear hard hats but it is acceptable to talk to white supremacists who wear ties? Why are Trump voters who wear work boots considered irredeemable when Trump voters who wear wings tips are considered redeemable?

If we want to win exclusively through mobilization and totally drop efforts to persuade anyone who already votes Republican, fine, we can win with that strategy. But as long as the DCCC and the DNC fawns over members of the bourgeois, who send racist chain emails, I will not apologize for Bernie Sander's overtures to members of the proletariat, whose views on race are less than ideal.

BTW, Ben Barson also needs "Warden of the fruitful pyramids" in his title

Neo-liberals have this strange belief that the conservative bourgeois class can somehow be reasoned with because of their education level to vote against their interests, while there is no hope to convince the uneducated poor white proletariat to vote FOR their interests.

Which is perhaps a admission that most neo-liberal polices are not all that "progressive" after all and that centrism ultimately benefits the bourgeois class the most, but just not as much as actual right wing conservatives.

Which is why someone like Jon Ossoff is going to lose to an actual conservative (no matter how bat**** crazy they are) every time for that demographic. Why have RC when you can afford the real thing?
