I'm sorry, but I disagree somewhat. While what is in someone's heart does matter a lot, even if you could wave a magic wand and make everyone in this country not racist, minorities, especially black people would still get unequal outcomes. Our system gives too many people an economic motive to plunder minority communities.

I rather change laws before I change hearts.

Though I know the two are intertwined somewhat.

That was not to say that unjust laws should not be changed. My point is just that inherent bias is the core reason why just laws are applied unjustly and WS thrives on the idea that anti-black (and anti-minority) bias doesn't exist in the case of police shooting trials.

No one really expected Trump to become a hardcore enemy of the porn industry. Even after he signed the anti-porn pledge last year he still maintained support from a small group within the industry. He did it to get the right-wing vote, they rationalized; he’s a disruptor not a politician and that’s just his strategy to get elected, they’d say. But that all changed when, like James Deen, our current president was accused of breaking porn’s golden rule: the rule of consent.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Frustration over the amount of money and public safety services being devoted to drug overdoses led to one Middletown, Ohio, city council member asking if it was possible for the city to not respond to such calls.

Saying the city needs to think outside the box, Middletown City Council member Dan Picard asked if it was possible for EMS to not respond to overdose calls.

Noting people with cancer don’t get free chemotherapy from medics, nor do people having heart attacks get a free heart bypass in an EMS run, Picard asked if there was a law that requires the city to respond to overdose calls.

The city is on pace to spend $100,000 for Narcan when it was budgeted $10,000 for the entire year, according to City Manager Doug Adkins.
