Solar will outlive the Trump administration. The tariffs are a temporary bump.I was offered a position at a solar panel company. Is it worth working for them now that President Trump put tariffs on solar panels?
So bannon out here telling people to embrace the racist label? Smh
"Don't let the liberal media tell you how to think and feel! If you have hate in your heart let it out!
If you don't like "Will & Grace", don't mean there's something wrong with you! Means there's something wrong with Will; he's a homosexual!"
DA most ignorant quote I've read in my life.
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon on Saturday told a crowd of far-right French politicians to let people label them as "racist," and to consider it "a badge of honor."
Bannon, a senior advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, attended the party congress of France's far-right National Front in the French city of Lille, where he also met with the political party's leader, Marine Le Pen.
Clad in his usual field coat and khakis, Bannon stood on stage to address the seated crowd of party elites, who were dressed in suits.
"Let them call you racist. Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists," he said. “Wear it as a badge of honor. Because every day, we get stronger and they get weaker.”
Bannon's visit to France was his latest stop on a tour of European countries, which has included Switzerland and Italy.
Bannon was forced out of the White House in August and returned to Breitbart, where he had been executive chairman since 2012.
The company announced in an online post in January that he had stepped down from the position, which a source close to Bannon confirmed to ABC News.
Bannon had faced mounting pressure after he was quoted disparaging President Trump and his family in Michael Wolff's book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House."
President Trump on Saturday threatened to tax European cars if the European Union retaliates against his steep tariffs on aluminum and steel.
Trump suggested in his tweet that the U.S. would not impose the aluminum and steel tariffs on the EU if they dropped their tariffs.
"The European Union, wonderful countries who treat the U.S. very badly on trade, are complaining about the tariffs on Steel & Aluminum," he tweeted. "If they drop their horrific barriers & tariffs on U.S. products going in, we will likewise drop ours. Big Deficit. If not, we Tax Cars etc. FAIR!"
Earlier this week, Trump officially announced tariffs of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum, despite major opposition from his own party.
The EU threatened an "arsenal" of retaliatory measures when the tariffs were first proposed, including imposing import tariffs on products made in red districts.
Trump earlier this month threatened to tax European-made cars if they retaliated against the aluminum and steel tariffs with their own taxes on U.S. imports like Harley Davidson motorcycles, bourbon and blue jeans.
This man used to be next to the President on a daily basis. Let that sink in "both sides are the same" *** ******.http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/steve-bannon-call-racist-wear-badge-honor/story?id=53656814
Steve Bannon: 'Let them call you racist ... Wear it as a badge of honor'
Lawmakers in West Virginia have voted to dismantle the state's Department of Education and the Arts just days after the longest teachers' strike in the state's history ended earlier this month.
West Virginia Metro News reported Saturday that a bill dismantling the agency and spinning off some offices to other parts of state government passed Saturday and heads to the desk of Gov. Jim Justice (R).
Among other provisions, the bill would eliminate the position of state Secretary of Education, which is currently held by Gayle Manchin, wife of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.).
The bill passed the state House by a vote of 60-36, with Democrats opposing the plan that they say will destroy public funding for the arts in the state.
“This is going to destroy arts in West Virginia,” Del. Larry Rowe (D) said. “Always, always the first thing to be cut is the arts.”
Teachers in West Virginia won a statewide 5 percent raise for all public employees and a commission to deal with issues with the Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) this month after carrying out a nine-day strike that shut down schools in all 55 state counties.
Manchin, a centrist Democrat in the red state, blasted state Republicans during the strike for "playing games" with the state's education system.
“Sadly, just like in Washington, it looks like political gamesmanship is winning the day & preventing a bipartisan compromise led by the Governor to help our educators & public employees, fix our PEIA system & get students learning again from becoming law,” Manchin tweeted earlier in March.
“I urge the Senate Republican leadership to stop playing games and send our kids back to school,” he added.
President Trump took credit for the success of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
During a campaign rally for state Rep. Rick Saccone (R), who is running for Congress, Trump also took credit for a lessened threat of nuclear attack surrounding the games.
"I'll tell you, we did a great job on the Olympics," Trump said. "President Moon of South Korea said without Donald Trump the Olympics would have been a total failure."
"It's a little hard to sell tickets when you think you are going to be nuked," he added. "But when North Korea called and said they wanted to be in the Olympics, everybody said let's get tickets and go."
Trump also touted his decision to accept a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to talk about denuclearization, something which Trump said previous administrations would not or could not have attempted.
"When the South Korean representatives who just left North Korea came outside, a big throng of press, they announced Kim Jong-un would like to meet with President Trump," the president told the crowd.
"Well, they say well, Obama could have done that. Trust me, he wouldn't have done it. By the way, neither would bush or Clinton," he added, continuing: "Anybody could have done it. Obama could have done it. Obama had his chance."
Trump shocked many in Washington and around the world this week when he announced that he had accepted a meeting with North Korea's Kim on the grounds that North Korea would cease missile tests in the weeks leading up two the two leaders' historic talks.
"The deal with North Korea is very much in the making and will be, if completed, a very good one for the World," Trump tweeted Friday. "Time and place to be determined."

I find it hilarious that I’m this country I can probably get shot in the head if I walk up to a cop and curse him out unwarranted, yet Trump can do and say anything to the entire justice Department and feel like he’s untouchable.
