Marco giving his concession speech? 8o

That response to the heckler :lol,"Don't worry, you won't get beat up at our rally" :lol

I kinda feel for him tbh,he looks sad
if he didn't feel cornered into making his campaign about being anti-Obama, I think he would've had a chance. and if he avoided his whiny voice. only now in his twilight am I beginning to see the potential he could've had.

Marco is kinda funny with those off the cuff remarks

Wonder what it would've been like if he showed a glimpse of his personality.

lol the programmers haven't quite nailed the "personality" subroutine.

but honestly I do think if he just went rogue and did his thing he could be pretty good. we may see him upgrade -- I mean evolve -- and come back better in a future race.

Damn, looks like Bern ain't winning no states tonight :\

I'm enjoying the demise of Marco Rubio, he was a particularly gutless candidate, and his entire political career reeks of baldfaced calculation and convenient policy position shifts to placate voters and reach the presidency.

a pretty face and empty suit wont win you the presidency no matter how much republican elites want to make it happen.

say what you want about Ted Cruz, at least he believes in something.

I get the sense that Marco is an impostor and he knows it, thats why he chokes when spotlight gets on him. :lol

Anyone see Rubio endorsing Cruz by any chance given their Tea Party background or does he stick with the establishment candidate with as much of a shot as he does in Kasich?

^true, but you have to stand up and applaud someone who says this, especially as a Republican: "We will still be rich, and we will still be powerful, but we will not be special."

bravo, Marco, bravo. we hardly knew ye.

Why do you assumeRubio looks hold his "tea party background" as some sacred brother hood.

I think Marco Rubio rode the wave that it took to get into the senate and then pivoted to the middle on the immigration so that he could become the establishment nominee.

and then Ted Cruz stabbed him in the back on that immigration bill right AND he ran squealing back into the arms of his "tea party background" by pivoting back to the hard right on immigration and foreign policy.

I don't think Marco believes in anything enough to make him endorse Ted Cruz.

I'm guessing Marco Rubio would rather endorse Fidel Castro for president than endorse Cruz. :lol

Ironically, this is exactly the way I would describe Hillary.

I don't think it's any sort of bond but he's become close ideologically to Cruz than Kasich and Cruz seems to be the only GOP guy left with a slight of usurping Drumpf. I hear you though,he's probably still in his feels about that bill and would never entertain the thought :lol

The biggest question is what is the GOP going to do now with Rubio dropping? We haven't seen anything like this before.

Options:

- Nominate someone other than Trump, despite him winning primaries
- Quietly not place support behind Trump and focus on the House/Senate races coming/organize a 3rd party
- Support the candidate who wins the primaries and build the convention around them
- Vote for Hillary
