No I'm not. To qualify for an inclusionary apartment you only need to meet the income requirements during the initial application. After you've been approved, you are now grandfathered into a subsidized apartment. That is why there are so many wealthy people living in these apartments, because they only check your income once. Tons of these wall street dudes racked up on subsidized apartments during the recession.

Honestly I have a certain amount of respect for Trump, and I find these #nevertrump "true conservatives" "doth protest to much"


The fact of the matter is Trump is taking many conservative platforms to their logic conclusion. In many cases he is simply saying what many conservative believe but wont say in polite company. For example:


1. If you are against a path to citizenship, if you are morally opposed to "amnesty" then at some point it HAS to result in mass deportations. Trump is simply acknowledging this reality.

2. If you are willing to spend a completely unreasonable amount of money on boarder security, then why not go all the way and build a wall?

3. His Tax plan is essentially to give him self, a massive deficit exploding tax cut the other candidates can't attack him on it becuase their tax plans are essentially slightly less extreme versions of the same thing.

4. His Health care plan is essentially the boiler plate repeal and replace plan that republicans have proposed for the last year. Replacing subsidies with tax cuts and allowing you to sell insurance across state lines. (selling across state line is stupid)

5. A large percentage of Republicans belive that white men are the most oppressed class in America, the republicans have catered to this belief, Trump has simply turned the racist subtext in to straight up racist text.

The only substantive difference between Trump and most conservatives that I can see is his opposition to trade deals which are traditionally more liberal positions in America.

Both political parties, all conservatives and many liberals have either ignored or been outright hostile to workers in recent decades.

Workers have been losing and either one of three things will happen: the capitalists will make concessions (which is very unlikely since most captains of industry truly believe the Objectivist BS that they spout), a right wing populist will emerge or left wing populist will emerge (which the DNC and DLC are working hard to stop from happening).

Donald Trump may become President the way same way that Homer Simpson became an astronaut, by default. Unfortunately, a whole lot of minorities could be harmed by his ascension.
