Denying coverage for pre-existing conditions is beyond disgusting to me. Aside from the financial motive of course, I really do think some of those biblethumpers believe that if someone gets sick it must've been because they didn't take good care of their body or just a punishment from god.

Why is it that blacks are represented by bloods and crips and Mexicans by MS-13, allowing both to be characterized as evil thugs, but whites are represented by Hells Angels types who are portrayed as "true" Americans with their Harleys and disdain of education and hygiene?

Comrade, they are true Americans. Jax Teller and the SOA (minus Juice) are true Americans. We all need a Bae like Gemma

I would hope that the total number of people identifying as Republicans has dropped since 2016. Maybe not significantly?

This is really ridiculous, I feel like I'm going to have to start cutting off friends and family.

The public shaming of these govt officials has been everywhere lately, huh. Welp... god bless their ignant, selfish hearts.

Anyway, allow me to share a personal, creepy experience I encoutered today as a photojournalist working for a local paper. I was assigned to cover a boat blessing event and the owner of the said boat also happens to be an owner of a seafood processing plant that was sued by the US Labor Dept. for not paying overtime and falsifying records of 55 employees dating back to 2013 (case took place in 2016).

He had Elizabeth Warren's oppoment, Beth Lindstrom, as a guest speaker to campaign and court possible voters. So the creepy part was the owner delivered a speech to thank the workers and the visitors for celebrating with them blah blah blah and everything was going fine until he dropped the words "DRAIN THE SWAMP":stoneface:and ish became uncomfortable AF. Then he rambled about doing his best to help out small-business workers, and told a story about how mackerels are considered as aphrodisiacs. Dude suddenly turned into Trump-lite blurting out insensitive remarks about seafood and sex while keeping in mind of his efforts of helping his city out. He gave out MAGA-style hats, too .

I'd rather have been assigned to a pride parade in my city rather here this dude's Trump-pandering rhetoric.

"Nobody talked to him. Nobody needed to, and then he walked in: thumbs-down. It’s alright, because we’ve essentially gutted it anyway," Trump said of ObamaCare at the rally.

Trump mocks McCain at Nevada rally
President Trump again mocked Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Saturday for McCain’s thumbs-down vote on the Republican plan to repeal ObamaCare.

Though Trump did not mention McCain by name, he has attacked the senator several times in recent weeks for his “no” on the GOP measure and has blamed McCain for the collapse of the Republican effort to repeal the act.

Trump at a GOP rally in Nevada said McCain went thumbs-down on the bill, a reference to McCain using the gesture to signify his vote.

"Nobody talked to him. Nobody needed to, and then he walked in: thumbs-down. It’s alright, because we’ve essentially gutted it anyway," Trump said of ObamaCare at the rally.

McCain's daughter, Meghan McCain, has called the president’s mockery of her father “gross.”

John McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer in July 2017, and has since undergone surgery and treatment. He has assumed a reduced role in the Senate since his diagnosis.

They will continue to be more blatant with what they pass becuase they know things will change soon. This is the old white mans last decade in power before they’re dead. Take that figuratively or literally. They need to get what they can now

The only silver lining in any of this is that I see now what these people are willing to do to others and what they're about at their core.

If they weren't going to lose power eventually anyway, they've definitely accelerated their own demise. I will never vote for anybody who runs as a Republican, until the day I die.

But why would they allow America
To end up in the ****ter
U can’t get richer
If the poor have no money to give the rich
Like why are they making us worse as a nation
I really don’t get why the people in Washington allowing this to happen

Betsy DeVos and Sessions own stock and have other business interests in private prison companies. Republicans are scared to death of not getting re-elected.

We're going to have to vote all these ****s out for anything to start to nornalize.

The idea that gutting Obamacare is going to make Democrats come to the table is one of the most deramnged and stupid gambits in modern political history.

The president of the country is PURPOSELY MAKING 1/5TH OF THE ECONOMY WORSE and some how random congressional democrat is going to somehow feel bad enough to...help you repeal Obamacare?

in leiu of simply blaming trump?

For WHAT? For Who?

The people who bare the brunt of this are rural voters...who...already.... vote for.... Trump? WHAT?!
