Bernie or Bust :hat
I thought we all know it's bust? 8o

Unlike the Rep. side with a possible contested convention when you add in super delegates there's no way Clinton loses.

Is Bernie projected to win Penn. or Cali? At this point, I thought he said he's just still running to get his message out there and pressure the Dem. party to lean more left and embrace some of his policies and reforms. I figure in a month he'll announce his withdrawal.

Doesn't shock me at all that you are 100% wrong on the facts.

Bernie nor his campaign has NEVER said he's just running to get his message out. In fact, quite the opposite. He said he's still running to win and is going to try to persuade superdelegates that he has a better shot of winning the general election than Hillary does. Which is what the polls are showing.

What facts exactly?
Bernie nor his campaign has NEVER said he's just running to get his message out.
On CBS, one of those morning shows they kept asking Bernie if it was good enough that he got his message out there. The entire questioning was revolved around Bernie dropping out. This was before the results of the NY primary. He said it was good but he was gonna stay in the race to win. They asked several more questions implying that it was good enough that his message was heard and when he'd drop out. He even said something like he mathematically still had a chance

It all sounded like he was defeated :lol The way they were disrespecting him with the questions. By the end of his spiel it really came off from what he said that he was just in it to spread his message.

Charlie Rose was one of the dudes questioning him.

In fact, quite the opposite. He said he's still running to win and is going to try to persuade superdelegates that he has a better shot of winning the general election than Hillary does. Which is what the polls are showing.
Yeah I heard when he said that too. Said the same thing on the interview I watched. He has to say that part.

I specifically remember him saying he'd try to persuade super delegates. He'll fail.

What is shown in the general election really doesn't matter if he can't make it there.

I guess I can add you to the list of ppl in denial. Not surprising you're not in touch with reality.

Pretending as if the race for the Dem. party is the same as the cluster**** over on the GOP side makes most sound delusional.

Of course there's no way in hell that Bernie will ever be the nominee. I've said that from the jump.

But in his mind he's in it to win it and has never said otherwise.

I made that post based off what I heard from Bernie in that interview. He wasn't as defiant sounding when he said he'd stay, try to convince super delegates, etc.

I figure he's gonna throw in the towel soon. End of May. Makes no sense looking like a fool in June with the convention in July.

I know this had been primarily about the Presidential election but for those in PA who plan on voting tomorrow. Here's a link to a guide for all candidates on the ballot for tomorrow. If you don't know your legislative district numbers, there's a link in there also to help you find out who's running locally in your area.

State and local elections affect us more than the national election, and we have a stronger influence.

Oklahoma media taking a small blurb Trump made about "great advice," to imply he is considering Oklahoma Governor Mary Failin for vice president. No way he could be that dumb, is there?

The choice between Turd Sandwich and Giant Douche is something we face in a Presidential election.

However, in the Republican primary, the choice is between two Turd Sandwiches. One is runny diarrhea turds and the other is constipated hard-as-bricks full-of-corn-and-cabbage turds.

Those happy with either of those choices would enjoy being part of a human centipede.

I don't even think Cruz is pandering. I think he's a legit lunatic biblethumper.

That worries me just as much as Trump.

I'd want it to be Cruz cuz he'd barely be backed by the ppl or supported by his own party.

At least Trump has a bunch ppl showing up for his ****.

If the nation gets to hear Cruz talk more in the general election you'd probably have Republicans switching sides :lol

The fact a nutcase like Cruz has gotten this far says a lot too. I wasn't aware y'all were still so religious in the US that this guy is actually getting support.
I don't know any religious people under the age of 70 besides a few muslims. Churches are nearly empty nowadays from what I hear from old folks.

When you drive in the countryside, you can find huge billboards with messages like "Obama is the Antichrist" (seen this in Missouri on my way to TX) or "Jesus died for your sins." Also, in some communities, churches still constitute an important social hub.
