Honestly by that point,they'd legit be forced to dramatically reform/rebrand their party platform to get with the times or risk their party fading into irrelevancy and dying since they'll never have the demographics required to win general elections on their side again.
They'll need some serious discussions about the long term viability of the party in it's current state...discussions they should've had after 2012

I actually don't think they'll keep going off the deep end. I think they'll try to get back to Pre-Kennedy era Republicans and try winning over black and Latino voters. Only way to do that is with a moderately sane candidate who bashes the banks though.

You keep throwing these things out like it hasn't stopped her from getting the most votes of any candidate so far. And the investigation, Benghazi, and all the other "baggage" you say is an albatross. These things have been common knowledge, the only thing that's stopping a Hillary presidency is if in fact she does get indicted. Drumpf is possibly the weakest candidate in GOP history in terms of demographics; not even getting into his lack of policy acumen.

One thing we can probably thank Trump for is that his rise is most likely gonna contribute to the end of the modern GOP as we know it. Got a feeling that they're gonna be way too fragmented after the general to all come together under the same party banner after everything.

I did consider checking out Australia a few years ago before all this, then I did my research.
