I'm a registered independent so i get why you wouldn't care about a party. But from a democrats pov i bet it is along the lines of the following.


Basically the party is a wide reaching and extremly successful organization that has furthered a more liberal way of life. If he splinters it or there are too many fractures, they won't be able to win elections against an organized republican party. It's not about voting for the party or wanting it to be strong as a loyalty test. It's a pragmatic approach.

Yeah, but there are also some debating whether or not he's "embarrassing" the Party. Who cares? If you are a voter voting based on Party "loyalty" rather than principle, youre part of the problem.

Bernie Sanders is not running for public office right now, he is running for the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party. That distinction needs to be kept in mind

So if people that self selected into being a democrat, a party that has a much more diverse coalition than the GOP, then those people have every right to comment on how Bernie Sanders actions reflect on the party.

And Bernie is embarrassing no one but himself right now.

These clinton people trying to explain away her emails as "wanting a private life" disgust me. That wouldn't explain the server (which the media doesn't like to ask about and is the most important start of the story) and not handing over a bunch more emails.

If she wanted privacy it wasn't because of yoga schedules and food recipees. It was pay for play. Giving bill money for speeches while she used her influence to facilitate deals.

The only acceptable response for someone defending her is "the alternative is trump who is unpredictable and dangerous".

I was talking about demographics, not ideologies or where you work.

You know black people, Latinos, women, homosexuals, transgender, Asians, plus you can throw in the highly educated.

No shade, but your post are incredibly hard to read because of the way you punctuate them, and to be honest, I have no idea what point your trying to argue.

The "housing consumption" in a term used in Urban Economics to describe the main policy goal of housing programs. Whether it be income grants, housing grants, public housing or rent control (a price control), it aims for lower income people live in better places i.e more expensive places. I used it as a subtle poke at Ninja.

And everything else was to drive home the point that their are public goods out there that society has decided the government should provide the service. We could in theory have all private schools, and private roads, but that would be would lead to inefficiency (again I'm speaking in economically) and possibly more inequality.

But again, no shade, but I have no idea what you trying to convey to me with your post.

Are you sure you just don't understand some of what I'm referring to because it definitely is really easy to get out of crafting an opposing argument if you just say "yeah your punctuation is what I don't understand". I was trying to be nice, I even explained my original point again , and if I wanted to ignore you (or not wanted to get out crafting an opposite opinion) I just won't have responded.
