-Secondly, Bill Clinton was HATED by the GOP for his empathy towards the black community, and bringing that empathy to the national stage. As a governor and as President. The things about Clinton is that the bills he passed that damaged the black community the most, his clown *** actually thought it was for the best.
Go look into why Bill Clinton was called the first black president, it was not some joke, it was because the GOP was doing him dirt like black men get done in similar circumstances

Perception is reality. Whether it's real or not, that's what alot of people think about his stance.
He gets significantly more animated talking about republucans and climate change. It is what it is and that's the vibe alot of people get. The media isn't even talking about that tragedy enough for people to notice. They'd rather focus on plagerism.
They hated clinton because that's basically when the extreme divided government started to go nuts. They hated him because he was a winning democrat. No other reason needed. Blaming that on hatred of black people is just odd. And yes i know his nickname. He played the sax, was very cool, and related somewhat to their struggle. That's not why they went for him

I'm not saying bigots deserve empathy. I'm just thinking about why he has so much popularity. His ideas are dumb, unworkable, or morally wrong. I'm just analyzing the situation.

Look at the base, this is something they rallied around since Obama got in office and started to question his legitimacy. This just didnt happen a year ago. The conspiracies, the constant fear mongering, the doom and gloom. Trump was at the forefront on the whole brither movement. The situation is the fringe part of the party is now the majority.

Trump just steamrolled a **** ton of white male candidates to become the republican nominee.
I've met a few trump supporters, and often they are either employed by the government or old men who think he is a successful business man. Most of them also just say the same crap he spews:
"I'm going to bring business back to America"
"China is a threat"
"Keep Mexicans out of the country"
"Muslims are terrible"
"I'm tired of everything being so PC"
I honesty think trump is just saying a lot of that garbage himself becuase he realized there are many people in the states who think that stuff. I also think his whole candidacy was an elaborate move to promote himself. He just said the most outrageous stuff so that the focus would be on him. Then people started to agree with him

Exactly. The Republican base exposed itself as a group ingrained in bigotry and racism long before Trump entered the equation.
The question is, are the majority subconscious in their bigotry and honestly don't see it, or are they conscious of it and just too cowardly or deceitful to admit it.
