Yup. In Brooklyn, the Hasidic community basically is it's own city. They have their own police, their own EMS, their own physicians, etc. That's why anytime the local government tries to give them restrictions or guidelines they lash out because they don't even consider themselves part of NYC.
Let that be a Black community or God forbid a Muslim community saying they're soldiers at war with an NYPD official standing right in front. There would be a swat team in place.

I share his frustration.
I had to remind a couple of close relatives (both of them working/studying in applied sciences/life sciences) that the stuff they are learning in school or applying at work didn't stop mattering when they clocked out or closed the textbooks.
If we have to remind people who use the tools built with the same concepts that are used to find these diseases that COVID is not a conspiracy, how are we ever get through to people who don't even know the difference between theory and hypothesis?
The entire situation is hard to witness.
