I can easily debunk the four talking points of what he has “done” for the Black & Brown Community too.

Anyways, from the start

1. ⁠HBCU funding was initiated by black Democratic congresswomen from NC Alma Adams & Kamala Harris. It was that caucus that proposed the 14% funding. I’ll give credit for Trump for signing it. But, then that federal bill literally slashed the PARENT plus bill, federal grants by $50 MILLION, and Betsy DeVos screwed them over with that bill. Financial aid for HBCUs have been plummeting since.
2. ⁠The First Step Act was rewritten by Senate Democrats. A more radical, progressive reform was initiated by Barack Obama... Mitch McConnell and the Republicans blocked it. Senator Cory Booker (D) initiated a watered down version of that bill to pass Republicans. And tho Congress passed it, it need $75 million per year for 5 years in order to be effective. Trump only allocated $14 million... 18% of the funding. FSA is completely underfunded, Trump is still for-profit prisons and criminalized marijuana... which is the cause of mass incarnation. And his federal mandate of stop & frisk harms minorities like me. He hasn’t done that much **** with criminal justice and still contributes to the problem. His encouragement of being rough on cops is the worst part. And he reinstated the War on Drugs.
3. ⁠Lowest unemployment for Black, Hispanic, and Asians is of Obama’s economy. When Obama left office, it was at 4.9%. It was at 3.9% before February and only decreased by 1%. Didn’t do ****, job growth was specially better under Obama and GDP grew faster under him. Now, Black unemployment is at 13%.
4. ⁠Opportunity zones are just tax breaks for slumlords like Jared Kushner. They don’t do **** and they haven’t done ****.

Now onto what the terrible things he has done:

• ⁠Fair Housing Act Removal in which POCs are more likely to get denied housing loans because of prejudice.
• ⁠Deregulating environmental policies that specifically harm low-income communities and communities of color.
• ⁠Mass incarnation still going up because of Stop & Frisk/Criminalized Marijuana
• ⁠Increased police brutality which... disproportionately affects minorities.
• ⁠Black, Hispanic, and Asian unemployment at all time high.
• ⁠Intense voter suppression by which mass removal of mail- boxes in POC dominated communities.

There’s so much more. But he hasn’t done ****, he lied.
