These gains we're seeing are due to the execution and energy on the ground by Black and Hispanic activists/organizers making tremendous inroads with the disenfranchised communities in those places, not conventional party wisdom

That righteous energy is necessary to sustain movements and galvanize folks

I think this election provides confidence for those who feels that their vote is "useless" and any effort is "hopeless". I'm extremely happy for EVERYONE who put in the effort to make this happen and applaud the prodominantly black areas that help turn the tide.
