Chuck Schumer needs to go tbh. He wanted to save face and have Zoom campaigns for Senate candidates run from a basement while raising money. The failure is proven by the lack of coattails down ballot. A lot of that is on Schumer and, to a lesser extent, Pelosi. I can’t believe they assumed that avoiding controversy and riding the blue wave would be enough. You have to do the work and get your hands dirty if you want the outcomes that you’re hoping for.

A populist Tim Scott is firmly to the left of 2012 Mitt Romney. So Romeny being nominated says nothing about Scott's chances.
