A lot of lawyers, engineers, economists, managers, finance guys, are good at abstracting what they are working with and then they go on to imagine the whole world as an internally consistent, logical and well ordered place. They see the world as a giant MMORPG game and the only "correct" way to better your life is to do so within the system like getting promoted or getting a fancy professional degree or flipping assets for a profit. They think that any group that uses solidarity and direct action to improve their lives as cheaters, hackers. That's how they see BLM or immigrants' rights groups or fight for $15 or labor unions or those who support equal pay for equal work.
