I know exactly what you mean about the sole.....they literally look like ice

Freegums sold out here in Edmonton surprisingly.  I pre ordered a pair for my brother who fell in love with my miami released pair on Christmas when I gave him his Concords.  Believe it or not, he wanted the Freegums more than the concords.....keep in mind he isn't much of a sneaker fiend like us, he was basing it purely on aesthetics.  I can see where hes coming from since the freegums really are the best CW of the 9 so far IMO

Luckily IAMDAVIDCHA hooked a brother up with my second pair.....Much respect!!!  i will be wearing my freegums on the regular

sorry, i should've just said that i personally don't think people will pay that much for the china 9's.  they are nice, but the south beach 8's were a whole other beast.  plus, they were made with nice leather.  sorry, didn't mean to attack your comment; and yes, i am mad at the world.

The red flywire on the scarface makes them ugly to me.

The reason I don't like the Miami Nights is because of one thing: take away the pink laces, the purple(*!#) swoosh, and the purple airbag and it's an all black shoe. I guess that's three things, but I'm just saying that the overall colorway is pretty bland.

well i dont see any lebron 9 thus far equaling sb's status... i ve seen FAKE SB'S going for around 250 on ebay... and the seller did write that it was a replica.... so in other terms the fake sb's were selling for nearly the china 9's price....

Word. I guess I just think the Miami Nights colorway isn't what it's made out to be. When I imagine a "Miami night" I imagine lots of lights, lots of different colors. The Miami Night IXs scream empty bar with a couple of neon lights flickering, not Ocean Drive in Miami.

"All black shoe"?   There is the cool grey in the shoe that stands out big time from the black and sets them off very nice.  It is #4 on the best colorways list.

For those of you in the bay area still looking for cannons HOH serramonte still has size 8 and a few others. They still have the Kentucky's in an 8 as well. Not sure of other sizes. Shoe palace still has the cannon's also at serramonte.

Anyway, I don't see them going that high either.  Even when we still had no confirmation they were releasing in the US the prices were still low-mid 300's.  Only time will tell though
