apparently this needs to be brock purdy huddling up with his teammates next season in order for us to get a "real" evaluation of his ability:

This isn’t Brock. This is gonna be req81 req81 when he posts and realizes nobody is replying, just shouting into space.
Without me this thread wouldnt exist.

Trade BA and let Purdy fall flat on his face.

Baltimore and KC put the blueprint out on Purdy.

You think its coincidence that both Detroit and Philly went and drafted the top 2 Cbs and top 2 free safetys?

Do you fools watch the games or do you just skim thru it?

Why does the front office insist on waiting so late to get these deals done? Do they think that these players looking for deals will cave to the lower offered amount? We know this is a business and he's technically under contract for another year but we also know that them waiting caused his price to go up. We also know that another team is probably willing to pay more seeing how Armstead got way more than what we were offering so if we aren't looking to sign him then he should have been traded before the draft. The players are seemingly unhappy with the way the front office has been negotiating extensions and now we've seen two players complain about feeling disrespected when asked to take pay cuts so maybe the front office has to do a better job of communicating with the players.

every team drafts to address their biggest weakness. eagles and lions weakness on defense were their secondaries and purdy exposed that last year. eagles had the 2nd worst and lions had the 6th worst pass defenses –you think they drafted corners solely because of this "blueprint" on purdy?

and if purdy was the mediocre QB you're projecting him to be, then why would teams waste 1st round picks on cornerbacks if the 49ers' weren't a legitimate threat to throw the ball?

Unless they were to get established talent in return that fills immediate areas of need (which is highly doubtful). I don’t see any type of trade request being accommodated at this point.

They’re in win now mode. 2025 picks don’t do much for that in terms of focusing on 2024. There’s a much higher likelihood of them trading him in the offseason if some type of long term deal isn’t worked out.

All things considered. I don’t blame Aiyuk for wanting to get paid. As a 49ers fan it’s not my ideal situation with them going into training camp. But we all know the NFL is a cutthroat business where 32 teams have proven to move on from guys so fast the minute they aren’t of value to them anymore. It makes sense for him to secure his big payday when he can.

Scouts, coaches and league execs also say that he is not elite. What do you say about that?
A. He's the ultimate Shanahan system quarterback aka giving way too much credit to Kyle and his offense.

B. They're giving way too much credit to the pro bowl weapons surrounding Brock

C. When you're Mr. Irrelevant, you will never get the benefit of the doubt

D. They're all blind

Ok, your turn. What you gotta say about that ⬆️
