OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET AND ECONOMY THREAD VOL. A NEW CHAPTER

It’s more NYC centric but Naya > Cava

Shawarma - nice!

I grew up in Metro Detroit, which a suburb called Dearborn has the largest population of Middle Easterners outside of the Middle East. There are so many authentic restaurants there, and even though Cava is a corporate chain... its better than a lot of the other options here in Denver.

I love middle eastern influenced Mediterranean food.

Not bad

How much u made

Not much...a lil less than $300, but after being down upwards of 4k on the trade, I'll take the small "W". I wasnt close to expiry on the contracts either, but I just wanted to get out. Now that I have the capital back, I can redeploy into a better position. I think NVDA is on the upswing, but I expect a bit of a pull back and will get back in once that happens.

Hell yea good ish

I thought about jumping in around mid 70s, but I don't see the long term bull case, not when Goog/Waymo is now a competitor. For me, it just made more sense to stack more Goog.

Why are you riding with them?

Mostly this; I still have faith in the power of first-mover advantage and brand identity. There will always be a space for Uber because they were the ones that made this a thing. Its becoming a verb now, "Just go Uber there". They did it first and brand identity is powerful. As much as Elon Musk wanted today to be about Tesla, it was about Uber. I really think they are going to be the future of travel period.

Google will benefit for sure, in the way that nothing on the internet happens without them being involved somehow, but IDK man I just think Uber stands to benefit more.
