Yup, thank god. I was fully expecting the 1099 to screw me over from sx, goat, and ebay. I still think the 600 threshold is way too low, especially when that already factors in the retail cost of something. Of course all that does is flag you to get the 1099, then you just need to make sure you keep records of how much you paid for each item that was sold. Curious to see how the IRS will audit those individuals who claim they made very little profit on like 5k (retail cost included) worth of shoes. And I don't think it'll fly when you screenshot those ebay marketplace deals/sales either lol

It’ll definitely fly. What else would you have as far as proof? Nobody will need receipts anyway. Fill in the cost basis and that’s it. Risk of audit is low considering how many people have high cost basis on stock sales etc.

If I could change one thing about the Phantoms...its just putting white wax laces in the box with the shoes. The red and fat black/white aren't doing it for me. But literally that is it.

People trying too hard with all these customs. Its a black on black Jordan 1 low. The contrast stitching is a nice touch and the goal of the shoe is to keep it simple IMO.

If you have og mocha lows they came with white waxed laces if I’m not mistaken haha

That spoken, this is a really strong look to me because it adds contrast to an otherwise extremely bland shoe. As a matter of factoid, blander than grandma's holiday meatloaf.



Going to the motherland for a month and a half this spring and initially wanted to just take the og mochas and the frag lows, but with that recent influence, will add these if I incorporate some white masking tape as a temporary makeshift art piece to the swoosh. It'll make for a decent short term faux blanco'd-out effect until i get back and paint them. They'll look really janky... but so are my teefs.



Actually wore them over the weeknd to the casino and realized how simple they are. Which is fine but i just want a little more umph. And the match mixed laces aren't cutting it. Dull scissors.



In gist, for me, the shoes as is look broke. And that's why i plan to fix 'em.

Frag highs are my least favorite of all travis 1s. I even like phantom and olive lows more.

Yeah, the Frag travs are not the most photogenic but in-hand they are superior to most. The butter leather was spellbinding when I unboxed them...

this, its the toe box/side panel leather of the OG highs all over the shoe. the color blocking is meh, but in hand the shoe comes together nice. ranked behing the og highs, frag lows, og mochas, reverse mochas, but ahead of the olives and phantoms

To kill time, I sometimes scroll through Legit App and check out all of the pairs sent in for authentication. TS models by far have the most fakes (like more than half are fake; as a comparison, most Lost and Founds analyzed are authentic, which was surprising to me). Some of the TS fakes are wonky, but some are pretty damn good. Apparently, those fakes are identified by "interior sewing", which I think means the sewing on the sole under the insole.

I have never used Legit App (though I recall someone on NT that knew someone that worked there), but I thought this was interesting.

Colorblocking is definitely trash, just look at how hated the heritage 1 is with the exact same colorblocking but in red. If it weren't for the names on the ts x frag high, those would've sat everywhere

legit app is the only app id even bother with. i dont have a friend that works for them but I have a friend that works with/behind the tech they use. its probably why im one of the few NTers that doesnt think the world is ending because of fakes lol the interior sewing is exactly what you said, the footbed stitching. The science behind it is that the stitching pattern/sequence is what gives it away. they also scan tongue tags and such for the correct font. for trav 1s in particular its colors are the easiest give away if you have them in hand. and sometimes shape can be a give away too but also hard to judge in pictures.

heritages could have helped themselves alot with a black swoosh and a sale midsole. blue/black break up white a lot better than just red. doesnt make the frag highs THAT much better but even if you removed the collab and took away the reverse swoosh and replaced it with a regular one, im still chosing the shoe you have left over the heritages

I ended up getting lol. In my opinion these are definitely better in hand. Some details I noticed was the contrast between the suede and nubuck parts of the shoe which I wasn’t really aware of. Not a huge fan of the thick laces. I have other laces from other pairs that I can swap out with and see what’s a good fit.

Overall I’m glad I got them. I wish I had got for retail of course. I can see these slowly rising in price over the course of this year.

TTS should be fine esp if ur dunk and air max sz is the same. Lows tend to fit a lil longer than highs so they should feel nice with the wider foot. GL and enjoy once copped.

Thats about right for a worn pair, at one point DS pairs were going for over $2k but now they have dropped to $1600 for a DS pair.

I finally got around to picking up Travis 4s for $440. I had UNC 4s and sold those and think I might prefer the color blocking of the Travis 4s more, I wish they used the same suede as the UNCs though.

depending on size you could probablt ask for a little more. Ive seen my size 11 got for 1300-1400 VNDS

I personally go size 10 in Jordan 1 Low's when I'm a 10.5 in virtually everything else (SB's, Air Max 1's, Sacai's).
