Y'all forget Soulja Boy, as crappy as he was, produced his own records, was one of the first rappers to realize utilize YouTube in creating a buzz for himself, and was semi-responsible for making the whole rap song + dance phase popular . In his own craptastic way, dude was innovative..and he was also 17.
Trinidad James is a grown *** man, who can't rap, who got lucky with a hit song. He doesn't produce, didn't innovate anything, hasn't "changed the game" in any way.
The two aren't comparable in any way besides the fact they both have a elementary rap book.

Soulja boy made a million dollars off of ringtones. There is no hustler out there Soulja Boy age that out hustled him. He had it all. Catchy songs that people bought the ringtone for and the single. He didn't even need an album but the album made Soulja Boy just boom even more. Soulja Boy is a hustla, people overlook it cuz his name. TJ gotta come with something more than AGE to be compared to Soulja Boy.

U don't need hits to get an album that has nothing to do with that at all. The hits come with the album, Soulja made millions off business smarts and tons of kid fads, he cant survive now, in this music market. Trinidad James got content and better lyrics then half the dudes getting shine In the rap game, again don't let his "All Gold" Gimmick fool you, he got signed for a reason, A&R's been studying!

Dear god this post is dumb .Trinidad has to be worst artist to debut in years fam he really cant ride a beat or can spit .He pretty much talks on beat with a lisp . Too many rappers in the industry rap better than him and can actually spit decently .
