Finished True Story last night.

I don't understand it, at all. I couldn't grasp the cat and mouse and the reasoning behind Cris Longo.

SO many "why did he/she do that" moments.

Had no idea Tobey Maguire was gonna be in Training Day before Hawkeye stepped in.

Also just learned tonight David Fincher directed George Michael's Freedom. :wow: :wow: :wow:
 
You saying Hawkeye had me wondering where the hell was Renner in Training Day :lol:

Then I realized it's Hawke.

Tobey would be believable as a rookie but standing up to Zel? I dunno. When Tobey gets serious and tough he's borderline crazy :lol: He'd come off looking worse than Zo.

What's crazier is the movie originally was gonna cast Matt Damon and Samuel L. Jackson.

I have no problem with female lead movies. There are some that I love, like Baby Mama, Pitch Perfect and Spy to name a few. But this Ocean's reboot just sounds like a bad idea.
 
Just saw Sausage Party....Maybe I hyped it up to myself too much, but it was pretty bad. Not that many lol moments. Concept was still kinda funny throughout, but I thought it would be way better.

4/8 being generous

With a better cast I'd be on board.

I'd add Betty White to mirror old dude in Clooney's Oceans, Viola Davis as the casino owner that's ruthless and going to get robbed, Bing Bing as the contortionist/acrobat, Margot Robbie in the Matt Damon role (I've seen Focus she can do it), Loretta Devine or Niecey Nash (Bernie Mac role), Halle Berry or Jada Pinkett Smith (Don Cheadle role), and Robert Downey Jr. or Steve Farrell as the old flame of Sandra Bullock's character she's trying to get back after she gets out of prison and do one last big heist.

Probably dump Hatheway, whoever is Awkwafina (just found out she's ol girl from Girl Code :lol: Might keep her now). Aint sure about Rhianna and Mindy. Keep Carter.

so Sausage Party was something...different. A few chuckles and the end had me like "wtf". Had some lowkey social commentary up in there though which was unexpected.

btw attached to the movie was a trailer about a couple getting trapped in a blind murderers house :lol: hell of a premise
