Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Idris would be GOAT Bond.
I am very confident of that.

But sadly i agree, i dont think the worlds ready for it

Thinking about it right now and I think you've got a good point. I rank the Casino Royale Bond as one of, if not my favorite, portrayals of Bond due to how measured, physically intimidating, and nuanced he was. I definitely think Idris could fit that mold, especially with his work in Luther. I'm gonna go check and see if there's been any progress on that Luther movie or mini-series that was talked about a while back.

Just read JK Rowling announced yesterday that Fantastic Beasts was gonna be five movies long. They are straight milking that franchise

I remember about the time when spectre was coming out one of the top producers for Bond was asked if Elba was a possible choice. dude said "he's too street" and we all know what that means

She's rich and wants to get richer. It's her series so she can make it how many movies she wants. It looks interesting being set in America.

out of the movies and shows i've watched in the past few weeks, westworld is the one i've enjoyed the most.

the john wick hype in this thread is outta control
i enjoyed the movie but didn't think it was the masterpiece you guys make it out to be. i might have to rewatch it.

youre right. wick is overrated. its ok. thats it.

About to start my horror movie camp out this weekend. I down for any recommendations from classic to low budget?

Was going to watch Return to Sleepaway Camp but didn't want to go that low budget on my first film of the night

Just how Bourne was going about things in that movie made him awesome. How he didn't know **** about Pamela Landy but he's was outside her office in 24 hours.

Bourne Vs Desh >>>>

The main dude in equalizer was talking all that ****. But got washed to easy and the end. They hyped him up something serious but at the end of the day all he did was choke out a hooker and beat up a fat dude.

Actually that was one of the recent authors of a James Bond novel.

Real stupid and borderline racist comment. He later on said his opinion was based on seeing Elba in The Wire.

The Rogue One trailer was the best of the bunch.. I figured the movie would deliver, but that trailer really gave me high, high hopes that it's going to be great.

Suicide Squad was terrible.

Shhhhh was so disappointing.. had deadpool level hope.. similar situation too, thought the movies would be able to succeed in spite of the other crap movies in those specific universes

But nope..

watch the animated movie, that shhh is good

Didn't know that there was an animated Suicide Squad film, may check that out. I honestly didn't love or hate the movie, it just didn't feel finished. I'm definitely interested in the extended cut, but it'll be another movie that I watch, watch again, and again, until I just have seen it enough I like it.

That's what happened with the extended BvS. :nerd:
