Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Back ...

Jumanji was a pretty cool flick with laughs here and there. The ending made the movie seem like it was better than what it was for me. However, not my cup of tea and probably would watch only for background noise.

Give it a solid 5/8

Watching All Eyes on Me now ....

However, I wasnt wanting to watch it.

Any recommendations to any feel good movies man?

Ya dudes is foul, why nobody told me All Eyez on Me was trash.

I'm so ******* disappointed I even wanted my time watching this ****.

Man, did was a hot mess ... didnt depict pac on the slightest. All over the ******* place. Was horrible pediod.

1/8 ...

Incredibles 2 is the best super hero flick since Black Panther. It’s everything I was hoping for in a sequel. Saw a review that said Brad Bird used all the ingredients of the first movie but made “a dish taste entirely different” which I think is spot on. I still really love the feel of 50s spy music & theme. The Johnny Quest homage/Easter egg was really dope. I have the original first season on dvd. Had no idea he borrowed themes & elements for both movies but it all makes sense. I took my family, mom in law, & my wife’s childhood friend & her daughter with a crap load of candy from FiveBelow. Everything we all wanted in a summer flick. A great time was had... 7/8

You can really see & hear a lot of elements that inspired Bird with both movies from original Johnny Quest,Space Ghost, & Birdman...

im just glad john highes didnt get to direct. that weird ***** wrote a scene where pac gets raped in jail!

**** is wrong with that *****?

CRAZY to read the full article on Lethal Weapon. :wow:

Dudes HATED each other. Now Stifler's in, no way the show holds the same momentum. :frown:

I might just buy the first two seasons on Blu Ray and pretend the rest never happens.

I thought you watched it knowing it was trash.

We talked about it briefly in here but all of NT knows its garbage.

man, I wasnt expecting greatness and nothing like Straight out of Compton which I thought it was really good probably great. However, something along the lines of the Biggie movie which wasnt great but was enjoyable.

Like my biggest problem the character of Pac was lame and didnt even come close to personify Pacs attitude and bravado. Even if he could, the constant interruptions from the interview jail cell the randomness all over the movie, the lack of build up. I mean the entire **** was a hot mess. I'm so ******* mad ....

Infinity War is great because it's the culmination of years of movies and as Zik said, it's an event.

Incredibles 2, while a sequel we waited awhile for, is more of a standard superhero movie.

The set pieces in Incredibles 2 were insane.. just imagine if those were in a live action movie and how blown away we would be. The train scene, the boat, the suspense in the apartment search, those scenes were amazing. You had strong character development, humor, an intriguing plot, it's such a good movie.

Have any of you seen "The Invisible Guest"?

Is a foreign film which I found very good ...

6.7/8

I suggest it ... let me know what you guys think.

The ‘How High’ Sequel Is Finally Coming

https://247hiphopnews.com/the-how-high-sequel-is-finally-coming/

It’s all the rage to revive cult classics at the moment, so it makes sense that MTV and Universal 1440 Entertainment would want to revisit the 2001 stoner comedy How High. Deadline reports that the two companies have teamed up for a non-theatrical sequel to the 2001 Universal film, which starred Method Man and Redman of the Wu-Tang Clan.

As Deadline revealed, the sequel will be written by Family Guy writers Artie Johann and Shawn Ries. The film is set to follow “two young but business-savvy stoners” as they “embark on a pot-filled odyssey through Atlanta to find their missing weed, only to uncover a vast government conspiracy.” How High 2 is slated to start shooting in Atlanta later this summer, although Method Man and Redman’s involvement is unclear at this stage.

Redman has been talking about following up How High for years now, explaining in 2014 that while he doesn’t own the rights to the film or the characters, he has been sketching out ideas for the sequel for years. “I wrote that **** on 2/9/14, the story board, plot summary, I can’t even show y’all that right now,” he explained to MTV News.”The How High 2, hopefully we could do that under Universal, if not, we gonna do our own movie under our own **** and it will be heavily marijuana related.”

Method Man and Redman might not be reuniting for How High 2, but they are supposedly working on a sequel to their 2009 collaborative album, Blackout! 2. In 2015, Red told XXL that he was working on the album with Method Man, hoping to release Blackout! 3 as the soundtrack to a potential How High 2.
