There has been quite a few super solid comdies in the last 5-10 years in my opinion.

Superbad and Hangover just set the bar so high, that good comedies pale in comparison.

There has been some trash, too....though.
 
Getting through another Always Sunny rewatch and sad what Mindy Kaling did to her face. It barely moves when she talks, even changed the way she sounds a bit. Looks like mask. Wish people would leave the facial stuff for people with real health concerns. That *** fat though.

I typed it out, but then I thought it was more insanely clever that I Iaughed twice to rather than a comedy’s comedy.

Didn’t even see Bridesmaids as I was going through the lists, but of course.

How did this get a sequel? The first one was baaaad
Made enough money and Alicia was willing to come back.

Also there seems to be another push for video game movies across the board in Hollywood right now. The business really cant risk not making these movies right now given the lack of creativity or willingness to give up ownership of new ideas going on right now.
