Such a good off kilter dark humor funny noir-ish buddy cop movie.

I don't know how any of y'all missed this.

Peña and Skarsgård were great. From the family life, to their weird idiosyncrasies, and how they go about being dirty cops.

Theo James was also very good. Smoking crack everywhere and acting dignified.

The script Some of this dialogue is ridiculous. The racism and the other in general Americanesque bigoted undertones just baked in to this. Also just the social cop references A good deal of different kind of quotables.

Plus Tessa Thompson is beyond beautiful in this

Pretty great ending too.

My favorite FILM of all time.
The Sound and Editing is next level. It actually won an OSCAR for that.
8 OSCAR NOMS total, robbed of 2 others(Best Adapted Screenplay and Movie of the Year)
At least they got it right on the Sound.
