Well this sucks:
Lost interest when Leo and Marty decided to not make it a movie.

Well this sucks:
I think this was because in the early 00's every rapper kept hyping it up on MTV Cribs (especially Trick Daddy who had the Scarface curtains i think). This moment in time brought many new viewers and I think people bought into the hype but others thought it was supposed to be the best thing ever and were unfairly pitting it against films like The Godfather, Casino, Goodfellas, etc.
I haven't watched it in over 5 years but am sure it will still hold up as I've seen it about 10x.
NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! Padme!!!!Alrighty, here we go.
Pacino
DeNiro
Voight
Judd
Portman
Kilmer
Danny Trejo
Henry Rollins
Obviously I've always known about this movie, but title only, and Pacino. I literally have no idea what it's about. Mob movie? Sports movie? Romcom? Vampires? I've literally only known the title and that Pacino is in it and that it's really good.

Need to get back into it more now. Fell off of the whole entertainment industry for a loooong time with being on the road for work so much during my younger days. So, a page back was a post about Keanu droppin out of The Devil in a White City. Back when we started this thread, Leo was attached to that project.
So I went lookin to see if I could find it and found so many great old posts (and posters). Your like was moreso I didn't know you had ever been in this thread. Once it got kicked to General, we lost a few S&Ters.
For the same price, you can have 2 Ribeye steak dinners!
Damb, I love that movie. Kathy Bates puts in the best performance of an obsessive stalker I've ever seen.Did not enjoy Misery. No pun intended. Still I can see why it’s held in such high regard. But I won’t be watching again
I think Keanu and most actors drop out in a situation like this cuz it’s taking so long for the project to go in to productionIf you read the book, I don’t know how anyone would drop out. You have a good script for a great movie or TV show even if the first, second, and eighteenth drafts of the script suck.
Leo and Scorsese and others are still executive producing this product, like C CP1708 said going back to like 2010, at the time we thought Leo was going to executive produce and star in it with Scorsese directing and executive producing. Now I think there’s no chance Leo or Scorcese were gonna do those roles 12 years later even when Keanu was signed on to star. It’s all in flux now.
Cathy Bates too much for you?Did not enjoy Misery. No pun intended. Still I can see why it’s held in such high regard. But I won’t be watching again
Never heard of this, but you got me sold. Gonna copy you for tonight’s first.Roughly 1/4 through the month...time to pull out one of the big guns. (Found on YouTube)
I typically don't do foreign language films, but this has a 98% on RT, and Stanley Kubrick calls it the most terrifying film he has seen. Let's see if it lives up to the hype

Until I saw Swimfan.
