Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

How do you sort them?

 @ a lot of them still in the package...I know the feeling. I don't have nearly as many as you...I had to slow down and realize I was spending way too much $$$

Lot of it random-ish in my head.

Top shelf Marvel.
Below is F&F, Scream, Matrix etc (franchises)

Lower will have 20+ Bond's. A shelf with like 10 Tom Cruise movies etc etc.

Oh you’re lucky, these rides are a lot more current than the ones I’ve been on. I would imagine they are extremely advanced, and tons of fun.
my son loves those rides a lot. guess he's my mini-me. he also hated that Mickey ride. you should try those at Disney Cali. what I like about Cars is the racing aspect of it and the background scenery. Millenium Falcon was more of an interactive space combat simulator.

Creed III

I still don’t understand the beef between Dame and Creed.

Feel like a simple conversation could of solved all this instead of a heavyweight fight..

Decent movie still.

7.1/10
Just caught the movie on Prime, so I’m late but it came to a fight because:
-Dame sent his goon to take out Drago and ruin the fight Creed planned
-Dame fought dirty against Creeds’ student (was docked points for elbow/knee), Next ref was gonna disqualify. Ended up ruining his students career
-Creed went to talk to Dame and got punched in the face
-Dame said On live TV Creeds’ father would be ashamed of him, he’s a coward, etc.

Overall, I liked it, 7.8/10. I’m thinking next Creed is the daughters’ turn to take up the mantle

Dame felt if he didn't take the charge the Donny back in the day, he would be the Champion with the beautiful family, house and all the money that Donny has. Probably hard to believe his towel boy is world champ and Dame thinks he's better than him also, Donny wasn't moving fast enough for him to get a title shot so he sabotaged their Drago plans and put himself in position to get the title shot which is realistically unlikely but for the sake of time and the plot they went with it.

Watching an 80’s Irish game show called Bullseye. It’s basically Jeopardy but for some reason a guy throwing darts gets to pick the categories. “BULLSEYE will challenge four men and four women to test their bodies and brains in three ultimate challenges that ask nothing more than for them to hit the BULLSEYE”

Anyways, they stumped my *** with a question. It was something like “The American actor Nicolas Cage was in the movies Con Air, The Rock, and Face Off. What is that movie trilogy referred as?”

The Beige Volvo Trilogy, the yellow Toyota trilogy, or the red Lamborghini trilogy? I went with lambo because they have a rari in the rock. No clue. Apparently it’s called the 1st one because they make a reference to a beige Volvo in all 3?

1: The Rock
"Look, I'm just a biochemist. Most of the time, I work in a little glass jar and lead a very uneventful life. I drive a Volvo, a beige one. But what I'm dealing with here is one of the most deadly substances the earth has ever known, so what say you cut me some FRIGGIN' SLACK?"

2: Con Air
“At some point in the film, a very dead con is thrown out of the plane and lands on, you guessed it, a beige Volvo.”

3: Face Off
“Eventually, the FBI agent, posing as a con, escapes prison and he does so in a, yup, beige Volvo.”

Sheesh, I thought Tar’ was a real person.
Wanted to see what she “really” looked like and found rather quickly that she was fiction.

I’m only 5 minutes in but I noticed early in she mentioned Marion Alsop..

The first article I pulled in search of pics of Tar’ led me to this…..an offended Marion Alsop

Beau is Afraid out on digital. Though I recommend waiting for rent or streaming to come out first if you haven’t seen it yet.

That’s pretty cool. A very hard question even for someone who has seen the films I would imagine.

By the way, do you watch Jeopardy!? Movie related categories tend to appear quite often. It definitely pays to have film knowledge when it comes to Jeopardy.

In addition to that, the “final jeopardy” category tends to be movie related every now and then as well. For example, “The Oscars.”

With your film knowledge, I feel confident that you would likely crush it in the movie categories.

This movie is amazing high. Who knew a 60+ year old espionage/thriller/romance movie could be so entertaining.

I’ll need to be put on to some other streamable Hitchcock films
I got you, but as for thriller Hitchcock that’s near the very top.

Back at it, my Top 10 is flawed, take Sinister out and put this at 1

One of my favorite scenes as well. Caledon Hockley is such a legend. Good manners, takes care of his woman, and has a fine palate for the culinary.

“We’ll both have the lamb, rare, with very little mint sauce.”

You gonna cut her meat too for her there, Cal?

He’s a suffocator yet polite
