Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

It’s like saying you save a kid to save your own life, other than the other two
you said it, "saved a kid". Cal is MVP ! unlike those two who just stared on people holding on for dear life instead of helping them get over the opposite side of the boat rail. also, Rose letting his boytoy freeze to death while keeping her butt all warm and fuzzy.

Tombstone last night.
Kiddo LOVED Doc Holiday, and the main cowboy, the one always wearing a red shirt.
So for those who can recall how it ended, he thought that it should have ended when Doc died in the sanatorium. After that scene, you have the scene with Wyatt and Josephine kissing, and the narrator tells us what happened to those 2, Mattie, Ike, Virgil and his wife.
Kiddo asked me "How long would you say the movie was after doc died?"
-me: "I don't know, seems like about 5 minutes."
-him: "Then it was a great movie, but 5 minutes too long."
I had never thought of that before but I don't think I disagree.
I just said that if that were the case, we wouldn't get the narrator's update on what happened to everyone, and Wyatt and Josephine being together for decades and then Wyatt dying in Los Angeles in the 1940s.
Hs solution: "So have that whole scene with Wyatt & Josephine before the sanatorium scene. That should have been the end of the movie."

Physical media will continue on Amazon, maybe(?), but remember they’re second main export is streaming so they might also have an interest in physical going the way of the dodo.

just watched Nausicaa Valley of the Wind

a triumph in every way possible, it’s my favorite ghibli film now (before was spirited away)

Nausicaa, Totoro, and Castle in the sky were the 3 I grew up with as a kid. I’ve see them so many times. Fun fact - Hideaki Anno of Evangelion fame was the lead animator for the Giant Warrior scene in Nausicaa.

Here’s how I have the Miyazakis ranked currently
