I feel like I owe the Shrek franchise a rewatch. I think I've seen the original once in like 15 years and I remember liking it but I don't know. I just don't ever think to go back to them.

One of my late 20s coworker says the first movie is his all-time favorite movie. I’ve watched the first one within the past month and it holds up. I remember liking the 2nd one more growing up but I never saw Shrek the Third or Shrek Forever After

The Bikeriders has been a surprise film of the year for me.

Beneath the gaudy accent showcase there's real heart to the film and the story was expertly crafted I thought.

Hardy is incredible, hell the whole cast is. Recommend seeing once at least!

Initially, I'm not getting the same vibe as Gladiator. Seems like this one will do numbers but should have been called Roman Fighting Movie.

kid was the grandson of one emperor and the nephew of the next one, but he ran away and still somehow ended up as a slave/gladiator with his mom in the stands watching. Movie is trying too hard to force a connection to the first movie.
