you've never seen this? A+ show

Watching this tonight. It’s a rewatch, and, of course the film is an adaptation of “Dial M” (1954).

It’s been a while since I’ve watched this film. I don’t remember too much about it other than the fact that I liked it a lot. Michael Douglas always does a fine job, although the performance of David Suchet was my personal favorite.

Also included is a quote by David Suchet! I agree with him. I don’t get bored either!

Den of Thieves 2 on digital this week already? Don't understand the quick releases. How I prefer to see it anyways, as the first one was just a random Netflix surprise at home.

Saw, “I’m still here” (2024) at my local art house today

HIGHLY recommend, absolute gut punch of a film. Super grounded drama about a woman trying to find her husband.

If I saw this in 2024 it would’ve easily been in my top 4

Speaking of, I'm wanting Yellowjackets Season 1 right now (six episodes in -- it's so good, Ella Purnell and Sophie Thatcher especially) and in 2021 one of the girls goes back and looks at a journal her and her friend made from 1996.

Here are their favorites movies and I guess, in a given movie which character they'd want to be.

For the most part, a lot of it doesn't make sense, because in 1996, Titanic, and CERTAINLY Bring It On weren't out yet :lol ... error on the showrunners' part.

Her favorites include Fear, The Birdcage, Striptease AND Matilda lol, etc. For MUST SEES, she has Primal Fear, Kingpin, Spy Hard, Happy Gilmore, and Black Sheep... yo

Californication was a wild show. Haven't rewatched it since it aired.

I'm only a few episodes in.......I wonder how fast David signed his paperwork after he read the script. :lol

Every female in this show ends up on top of him.

But I'm forever ruined, Bill's daughter is the little girl from The Hand that Rocks the Cradle. :eek

I was really into the show when it came out... I don't know how it would hold up nowadays but I remember really liking it

Please tell me, what exactly did you want me to say to this post?
This post is for you and only you. You’re immature, disrespectful, cowardly, and dishonest.

Please understand, I hold you in the lowest respect.
What kind of response have you wanted when you have expressed the same exact sentiment to someone else?
What exactly did you want them to say?

Started having a weekly 'movie night' with the kid in November.
Was Wednesday. Recently switched to Thursday. I know most people do Friday night or Saturday night, but that doesn't work for us because he's with his mom on the weekends.

Anyhoo, thought this thread would appreciate our list so far.

Saw this Monday (it’s a thriller, not a horror at all) but the score can be explained pretty simply. Novel idea over a span of 90 minutes with good execution. 92% enjoyed it, not that it was a horror classic or anything, but like me, and you can see from that score, most would highly recommend. It’s versatile, a good date movie or with your friends.
