Saw this Monday (it’s a thriller, not a horror at all) but the score can be explained pretty simply. Novel idea over a span of 90 minutes with good execution. 92% enjoyed it, not that it was a horror classic or anything, but like me, and you can see from that score, most would highly recommend. It’s versatile, a good date movie or with your friends.

So in actuality, how much of a "Men are bad" movie is this...or did that not even cross your mind? Thats how it comes off in the trailer.

There is one actual bad man, very little “men are bad” tropes. It’s a society where sex bots (or “emotional support companions”) are normal for both genders and any sexual orientation. Its themes are greed and tech dystopia, not ‘men created this’.

Love this film.
My favorite of the ZOMBIE flicks due to premise and the speed of the ZOMBIES.

28days later and WORLD WAR Z figured it right with the fast ZOMBIES. Walkers just suck.

That was one film I was really looking forward to seeing at Sundance the year it debuted. I don’t know if that is always how they’ve done showings, but it was during Covid and you bought movie ticket packages. I think I picked a 12 film package?

Anyways my fiancé’s dad passed away the week before the festival so I had to cancel. But the majors one got great buzz for sure. Looking forward to finally catching it.
