Trick r Treat was pretty decent actually. 

 

I watched it in almost the same manner as From Dusk Til Dawn.  I remember watching that with some friends years ago and everyone sorta sittin their watchin, movie's pretty good, chit chat a lil here and there, and then they go in the bar and everyone is like, "uhhhhh what the @#$%, did we change the channel or something?" 

 

This gave me a similar vibe.  My wife called the chicks EARLY, she knew somethin was amiss the way they asked any male that was upright on a date.    And we loved lil guy with the sucker, he was cool. 

I have no idea the purpose behind the movie other than to tell a halloween tale, but I guess that's the point.  And for that it works, as long as you suspend disbelief like you should.

American Horror Story will be returning to FX in 2012 with 13 new episodes.
FX has announced that they have renewed their breakout hit American Horror Story for a second season consisting of 13 episodes, which they expect to air in 2012. The current season of the drama series is scheduled to complete its run on the cable channel on December 28, 2011.

In the press release announcing the renewal, John Landgraf, President and General Manager of FX Networks, said “It’s one thing to have the ambition and guts to reinvent a genre in a way that makes it captivatingly fresh for a broad audience—it’s something else entirely to have the craft to back that ambition up. It's so weird seeing real names in this. Feeling like some sheik in Abottabad had crazy stacks so he rented American actors who thought for sure nobody would see this on some Hulk Hogan is a joke #@$@.

Like look at all the extras in this. Not a damn one of you speak English, I promise. I saw yall in Borat, don't lie. How do you describe a movie like this? It's like 80s Elton John had a baby with Hero that #$#*$+ the Icky Thump music video. The plot

It was kinda fun watching Demi Moore, Woody Harrellson and Ron Perlman shoot the #@$@ and just not really give a *!%#. The good thing is...it feels like everyone knew it was a joke...unlike The Rock in the first half of Fast Five...Except who knows with Josh Hartnett...I mean his face just stays that way no matter what. I hope someone told him.

That's hilarious, I can't believe you found the preview I posted back then.  I too picked this up over the weekend to check out.  Along with Crazy, Stupid Love, Three Muskateers, 30 Minutes or Less, and Margin Call.  I'll be pushing thru these this week.

Kev, great news, Directv has reached a deal with Fox, FX will live on. 

  And as Dub posted, Season 2 picked up for AHS. 

And at some point this week, I begin Breaking Bad.  See what the hell ya'll be talkin about all the damn time.

I just finished Sweetness, great read. Book got a lot of +*+! about how it talked about his sex life and depression after football, but it didn't shadow the book. Walter Payton will forever be the man in my eyes, just wish I was old enough to watch him play.

Anyone else really geeked for the Muppets movie? First one in a decade and Muppets in Space sucked.

Me too.  Love the Muppets.  Also, reminds me that I've been meaning to look into buying seasons/episodes of the old Muppet Show.  That show was genius.
